(y/n) sat with a little smile on her face as she rocked the little baby in her hands. It being just past lunch she finally managed to settle him down into a soft sleep. He was so cute with the littlest hands that it made butterflies bubble in her stomach when he clenched tightly onto her hand. Even if it was a reflex.

"Oh, he's finally down?" Poppy breathed walking into the room. She converted a nook in the back of the bookstore for Will to sleep in while she worked.

"Yep just now." (y/n) whispered settling him into the small cott coated in Greens and whites.

"He only even sleeps for his afternoon nap when you're around." Poppy nudged her by the hip making (y/n) smile. "You've got an act for kids. Must be this job you have."

"Speaking of I better head back. Rush hour." Poppy walked (y/n) out to the front of her bookstore before they hugged.

"See you next Sunday for dinner yeah." (y/n) waved her off heading towards diagonal alley. The past few weeks have been amazing. Since finishing at Hogwarts she had spent her time helping the twins run the joke shop. Inventing things or helping fix items that just weren't finished yet, (y/n) did it all.
Diagon Alley had slowly become more abandoned the past week. A few stores were burnt down and yet no one touched the joke shop.

As (y/n) walked through the street holding up her wand as an invisible umbrella formed above her head against the drizzle of rain that started she saw the bright lights of oranges and purples of the twin's joke shop. Weasley's wizarding wheezes. She always smiled when seeing it from a distance.

Of course (y/n) was right when walking into the store it was bustling with people left and right. Weaving her way through expertly by this point she was heading for the back room to check on something she had been brewing before heading off for a lunch break with Poppy. When spotting a kid trying to slot something in his pocket she flicked her wand and it shot straight out and into her hand.

"Nice try. Do that again and permanent ban." The kid gulped and she kept on walking. It was only a small toffee Lollie why steal it? Without another interaction, she let out a sigh heaving open the door into the back room that had a silencing charm to keep the loudness outside of the room.

As she shut the door taking off her damp coat it shut harder than (y/n) would have thought and before she could even then her head (y/n) was pushed against the wooden doorframe by Fred.

"Merlin I'm happy you're back." He kissed her roughly. She gasped as he held onto her hands pressing them onto the door while his knee went between her legs. Whimpering and slightly confused just as his mouth started opening he pulled back going for her neck.

"Where did this come from? It was only an hour." She panted just as she saw George's shoes coming down the stairs just as Fred snuck a hand under her sweater squeezing her breast and mouth retracted to hers.

"Fred you were meant to be adding some inventory back to the shelves."
George sighed and Fred pulled back leaving a panting (y/n).

"But she looks so cute in this short skirt. I just want to." George pulled Fred further back from (y/n).

"And we can plus for longer if we do it when we close." They grinned at her while she had a deep blush.

"Yeah, you're right. I'll do the inventory." Fred went for the door and George tugged (y/n) out of the way helping her fix up her shirt as Fred left.

"Can't believe he's still so touchy after the past three weeks." George chuckled tucking in her undershirt once more. "Of course, I would do the same if we didn't have a business to run." George had been trying a little harder the past week, he hadn't told her why. Biting her lip she slid her hand up his forearm to his shoulder leaning in to kiss him. George let out a soft sigh leaning in more.

"You can be touchy for five minutes." She spoke softly with rosy cheeks and George leant right in kissing her harder leaning her onto the small couch behind her.

"You little minx. Clearly, we're rubbing off on you." She giggled kissing him again. George moved them to the couch for her to straddle his lap as they made out. His hands only slid up and down her hips while hers went around his neck. While there tongues fort the door opened again. The flood of kids shouting echoed into the small space.

"Hey, you hypocrite! Come help me and let (y/n) work." George groaned his head sinking back to the headrest while (y/n) got off him.

"Can't we just do it now?" He breathed and (y/n) held her breath.

"Don't tempt me, we've got a shit tone to do come on." George let out a long breath standing up and kissed (y/n) one last time before leaving with Fred.

Time to get to work.

(y/n) wasn't paying much attention to the time while she was going through the inventory at the store so they knew how much more to order. Which as always the protection wear was still skyrocketing that all of it was sent out to clients rather than into the store. A pair of hands went to her shoulders and she hummed while still going through the product list.

"It's just past six," Fred said rubbing her shoulders and (y/n) jolted standing up.

"Damn it I was supposed to cook." Squeezing through the tiny gap of the office she swung open the apartment door running upstairs while fixing her hair so her hair wasn't in her face. Taking off her sweater and rolling up her sleeves she flicked her wand making items float around the room. A pastry formed in the air, ingredients wrapping inside and ending cooked in the centre of the table cooked. Vegetables chopped themselves on the kitchen table. Fred and George came up the stairs grinning at (y/n) as she made some lemonade finishing off everything.

"You didn't need to rush love." George smiled going over to take the glasses to the table.

"But I need to be home by seven so I didn't have time."  As they ate dinner there was always something to talk about that happened throughout the day but she kept an eye on the time to make sure she would leave so her mum wouldn't get worried. The last time she was late her mum gave her a heavy scolding. So her curfew was set to when the store closed apart from tonight.

"There's no need to eat so fast." Fred chuckled but (y/n) jumped up seeing that she nearly had to leave.

"I'll just get my bag, mum will be waiting for me." Going to the bedroom she found her bag on the chair by the window. (y/n) didn't keep it in the office since the space was already cluttered.

"Love what's the rush?" Fred breathed walking over to hold her shoulders.

"I just don't want to worry my mum." Fred kissed her should, lips curling into a smile.

"We may have owled her saying we were working on the store and you'd be late." George stood in front of her grinning. He took home of her bag putting it back down. "You're good for at least an hour." Fred's hands snuck underneath her top and he squeezed her breast. Before she could say anything George kissed her pressing her back into Fred behind her.

"Come on love we've been waiting all..." There was a loud bang. For a moment (y/n) thought it came from downstairs but to her surprise a burst of light came from outside. The three of them stopped and went to the bedroom window.

"Deatheaters," George whispered. They were at Olivanders, and smoke from the now burnt building started to fill the street.

"I think ifs best you head off," Fred spoke not looking away from the window.

"You two can sleep in the guest bedroom." She said back stepping away from the window grabbing her things.
