After the horrible snafu on Christmas Day and the lengthy stay at the burrow on New Year's Day, it was finally time to head back to work. Quite a few students were about the first hour of opening before rushing off back to school. (y/n) was happily tucked away working on a new batch of some of the more popular potions when a tap was on her shoulder. George held a hot cup of tea from upstairs and pressed a kiss to her forehead.

"Mum warned us to take care of you. Seems you're her favourite now that you knitted that sweater for her." (y/n) smiled taking a mouthful.

"I don't think so, I bet Harry still holds first place." George chuckled standing back up straight heading back out into the store. But not even five minutes later the door slammed open once more.

"(y/n)!" jumping and turning to see Samantha she was grinning widely and ran right up to (y/n) sprinting into her arms for a hug.

"Sam? What are you doing?..." Samantha shoved her hand in (y/n)'s face and when adjusting for a moment she saw a ring on her left hand. (y/n) choked on the air completely confused.

"Lee proposed!" (y/n) continued to cough for a moment longer while Samantha was giggling.

"But I thought you hadn't seen Lee since Hogwarts?"

"We started talking again just before Christmas and now we're gonna get married!" She clapped again and the door that was still open had fred and George peering inside. They also looked confused. "Wait ill go get Lee." She ran back out and (y/n) was quick to stand going over to the twins.

"Did you two know about this?" They both shrugged.

"Lee didn't mention they were still together," Fred whispered and (y/n) sighed.

"They weren't Samantha said he wasn't romantic enough and only wanted sex most of the time. She cut it off." Samantha came back around the corner with Lee holding an arm around her waist. They did look happy about the whole thing and he didn't look drugged or anything. Not that she would do that of course.

"Merry Christmas you three." He smiled grinning at Fred and George who grabbed Lee by the shoulders.

"We'll investigate him." George, whispered before they pulled him off and away back into the store.

"So it's safe to say I want you to be my maid of honour!" She clapped not even noticing the shocked look on her face.

"Me? What about Kate?" Samantha rolled her eyes.

"No come on, who else would make liquid luck with me or bet on things we already knew? Kate and Galicia will be bridesmaids but you're my best friend." Samantha hugged (y/n) and for a moment (y/n) was just happy for her friend.

That was until in the next few days she got a letter from Galicia ranting constantly about the suspicions she had about Jason the whole thing followed by a time to meet them.

(y/n) told the twins she was meeting Kate outside Saint Mongos for dinner so they didn't press any questions.
From what Lee told them it was something planned for a long time but (y/n) thought otherwise.

"What are we doing?" (y/n) asked once seeing both Kate and Galicia near Saint Mongos.

"Take my hand." Galicia apparated them somewhere new and now not in the city (y/n) had to squint to look around for someone. "Where are we?" She was hushed by both Kate and Galicia and heaved down onto the grassy floor.

"Thank you for dinner Mr and Mrs Jordan." Samantha? Peaking through the bushes in the yard over from Lee Jordan's parent's place (y/n) let out a quiet gasp.

"You took me to spy on Lee? Are you mad!" (y/n) whisper shouted to Galicia and Kate covered (y/n)'s mouth with a palm.

"Yes, don't you think it's odd they broke off the relationship and in two weeks of seeing each other they want to get married." Samantha turned on the spot and with a pop was gone. The Jordan family started talking outside once she was gone.

"Well yes but..."

"Shh, they're talking," Galicia said again. (y/n) had a feeling that Galicia after all these months being locked in an office was starting to have an effect on her.

"You picked a bright one son." Mr Jorden said while tapping Lee on the shoulder.

"Why didn't you tell us about her sooner? She is just lovely." It seemed that his parents were fine with the marriage.

"I just wanted to be sure before introducing her to you and yeah she is amazing." And Lee seemed just as happy about the whole thing. They went inside the house again so (y/n) tugged on Kate's shoulder.

"Ok, so we know it's legit Let's just."

"What are you three doing?" Kate let out a scream so loud that it made Galicia jolt sending all three of them into the bushes they were hiding behind. Lee was standing arms crossed behind them seeming to come out of nowhere. "I thought I saw someone hiding in the bushes. You're lucky I didn't blast a hole in the bushes."

"We have some questions for you." Kate stood up and Galicia did as well while (y/n) sat between them flicking out twigs from her hair.

"No, we don't. You are both acting like idiots." Getting up with a huff (y/n) stepped out from behind the girls. "Overprotective friends are the worst sometimes aren't they." (y/n) said taking hold of both Galicia and Kate's forearms.

"Wait a second." Lee said but (y/n) interrupted him.

"I would love to stay and chat but we have to explain all this to Sam." Forcing the girls to go with her (y/n) took them to Samantha's house which was a small little cottage she had been to quite a few times over the years. Samantha jumped on the spot when the three of them appeared in front of the house. It looked like she was watering some plants just before in the greenhouse.

"What's happened? A vision oh today is brilliant." Samantha grinned going right over to the group.

"Sam (y/n)'s visions aren't often ones of good fortune. The only ones worth anything exciting were for the betting you both did sixth year." Kate breathed but (y/n) nudged Kate.

"These two have something to say. About Lee." Galicia let out a long sigh.

"Is this about the bridesmaids thing? Oh darn it all I thought it was all settled but if...." It would be a long rant if one of them didn't say something. (y/n) thought Galicia might let her ramble but instead she blurted out.

"We spied on Lee tonight to see if he was using you." Samantha stopped and looked to (y/n) first.

"I had nothing to do with it Sam these two had minds of their own. Even if it was to look out for you I still think spying on people through bushes is a little out of character." With that, the girls went to apologizing and without hesitation, Samantha just burst out laughing.

"You three are bloody crazy."The front door to Samantha's house opened and her mum came walking out.

"Oh Sam you're back... what are you three doing here?" Before another mistake was made Samantha grabbed onto (y/n) and pulled her forward.

"The girls wanted to come over for supper. Hot chocolate is in order!" (y/n) could almost feel the relief off both of her other friend's shoulders while Samantha pulled all three of them inside the house.
