Something was wrong, that much (y/n) knew. It wasn't a vision but something similar. She couldn't remember what happened just that she woke up startled and in pain. It was early in the morning. Everyone else was asleep throughout the house.
After last night (y/n)'s father took them to the family cottage. They hadn't been in a few years and no one really knew about this place. They must have thought it would be the safest place to go while everything calmed down for a few days.
The sun hadn't risen yet and with the weather getting colder she didn't want to venture outside but something kept bugging her about the dream she could no longer remember. It wasn't something she had seen before. The pain felt different. It made her skin hot and sitting around inside wasn't helping. Already dressed she stepped outside, the brisk air immediately calming her burning skin. But the crisp air didn't leave comfort, instead in moments her blood ran cold and stumbling down to the railing (y/n)'s breath picked up fogging the cold air.
'Tell me what you know!' (y/n) stood in the darkness looking around for the location of the voice. There was a pounding in her head that only got worse while walking forward. She didn't know where she was. It wasn't like Hogwarts or the ministry but someplace she hadn't been before. Her foot kicked something and while reaching out it was a door. It appeared in the darkness. Carefully opening it she was in what looked like a dining room. It was rather bleak, dark with surrounding dark green and black decor. What she saw made her throat dry. Deatheaters. The only person she knew was Draco Malfoy from Hogwarts.
"Nothing I don't know anything." The voice was weak and female. Who was it? Ginny, Hermione? The dark-cloaked man stood. It was him. He who must not be named. Walking closer trying to catch the person's face it wasn't either who she thought but... Herself. Like in one of her Hogwarts visions her future self seemed to know when she was in the room. Their eyes met.
" you little girl. Tell the dark lord now!" Bellatrix Lestrange cut into her cheek quickly with a knife. He who must not be named raised a hand.
"Calm Bellatrix. We can't afford to kill her now. If you don't know now you will know soon. Wormtail." The room started to fade into an echo. "See to it this girl is locked away..."
(y/n) was woken by someone patting a cold towel on her forehead. She was no longer outside but on the couch by the fireplace.
"Oh thank goodness you're awake." Her mother breathed. The room had everyone surrounding her. Molly and Arther stood with Ginny and Poppy came walking right over with a cup of tea.
"What happened?" (Y/n) choked out. She only just noticed she had been crying.
"Your father found you outside when getting some firewood. Then.." The front door opened making (y/n) jump, she just knew a deatheater was here to take her away. But it wasn't just Fred and George with a new stack of wood for the fire. They both called out her name when they saw her sitting up.
"See Mum I knew she would wake up the second we turned our backs." Fred said dumping all the wood into the wooden crate. It almost toppled but George used his foot to push it back into place before doing the exact same thing.
"How long was I out for?" The sun had risen now and it looked like breakfast was on the table.
"Well, I found you just under an hour ago but how long you were outside I'm not sure." Her father said his hand resting on the couches backing.
"So what was the vision?" Molly seemed nervous. As did the rest of the room. Just the previous night Harry, Ron and Hermione went off on the mission that no one knew but her. Of course, it wasn't to do with them and now thinking about the vision more the hot mug of tea in her hands loosened. It would have toppled if not for George reaching out and taking it from her.
"I was taken." The reality of the vision just started settling in. She wasn't sure all of what happened beforehand but from the look of it (y/n) was tortured.
"What?" Both Fred and George spoke out into the now-dead silent room.
"What happened? Where were you?" The grip her mother had on her forearm tightened as if (y/n) would be taken if she let go.
"A house I think. In a dining room, He who must not be named was there. Asking me about what I knew." Molly had started holding back tears. All (y/n) wanted to do was get away from all the eyes looking at her. "He said not to kill me because he wanted me to have a vision." Her throat started to dry, maybe she dreamt about it last night and that pain was what she felt before.
"Why can't you ever have good visions?" Poppy crossed her arms. "Seriously the amount of stress you've had the past two years surely you've got some grey hairs." Davis rested a hand on Poppy's shoulder.
"Not the time Love."
"Well, we know now. So we can hide you away." Her mother said standing up straight. " You can stay out here until they stop looking for you." The room seemed to all agree with her.
"What about the battle? I have to be there. My visions are warnings I can help."
"Not if you're locked away." She left as if she had to do something. To help someone right now and being here wouldn't fix the problem.
"I'm having a shower." She left the room for the shower down the hall. Finally feeling the urge to breathe from the tightness in her chest (y/n) locked the door being quick to turn on the water and undress. The heat felt nice considering she wasn't sure how long she was on the cold wooden boards outside. (y/n) heard fred or maybe George knocking softly on the bathroom door to let them in. Pretending not to hear just needing to be alone for ten minutes she shut her eyes focusing on the water. The water running had an odd noise, some sort of high-pitched squeak that seemed to get louder the more she focused on it. Somewhat like white noise when everything was dead silent.
Which was what triggered something.
She was sat on a beach, staring out at the sunset. Feeling the breeze and the textured sand between her toes just waiting for something.
"(y/n)." George pulled back the shower curtain and (y/n) opened her eyes. She hadn't moved and still stood. The hissing noise faded. That had never happened before. "Love, are you alright?" Fred was shutting the door behind them.
"Yes I'm fine just needed some time to think." Turning off the water George passed a towel for her to dry off.
"It's not such a bad idea. You staying here." Fred spoke up while she was switching back on her underwear. She froze to look at him. Hair still dripping wet she wasn't sure what to say.
"And what if staying here means I get found?" The boys looked at one another. She wrapped a towel around her rather than changing into her pyjamas once more.
"(y/n) are you Al.... oh George? Fred? What are you both doing in here?" Tonks asked then she leant back looking down the hall. "You three better get moving. If Molly sees you." Fred and George were already moving out the door. "Breakfast is on the table."
"(y/n)'s just going to have a nap. Long visions tire her out." Fred held onto her shoulders and Tonks frowned slightly looking worried.
"Well alright then." Her voice drifted off while Fred pushed (y/n) into the bedroom she had been sharing with Ginny the night before. The house was rather large. Enough for bigger family gatherings. They wanted to talk with her without being overheard.
"Like we said after you stunned us to not follow you you can't go running off without us. Not again."
"I'm not leaving. But when the battle comes I will be. These past three years have all been working up to this moment. I can't just do nothing."
