Chapter nine🔞

"(y/n) over here." Samantha waved frantically for (y/n) across the street. She was meeting up with Kate, Galicia and Samantha. For the first time in two months they were back together again.

"Can't believe I finally get a weekend off." Kate whined out in the slump of her chair. The cafe they chose was a rather small one not far from Diagon alley. It was full but that made it easier to talk without people over hearing.

"You're telling me." Galicia said and Samantha nudged (y/n). A grin on her face.

"Look at the weaklings not handling the adult world." She laughed getting glares from the other side of the table.

"Says the lady that scoops icecream for a living next to the girl that works at a joke shop." Kate groaned ordering a double shot coffee. Which she didnt drink the last time (y/n) saw her.

"Excuse me! I get hand cramps every day working my job and get free icecream to boot." Samantha crossed her arms and Kate waved her off.

"Well i'm actcully mostly helping to invent potions. I helped make a daydream charm, like lucid dreaming." (Y/n) said and Kate lifed her head up to look at her.

"Really? Thats interesting. I'm mostly just sorting files right now." Galicia said with a sigh swirling her straw. "Apparently thats where everyone starts. Kinda wish i went with Rogar to quidditch tryouts." Samantha hit her hand on the table making (y/n) jump.

"You've still got time. Don't waste your time, do something you love. Like me."

"Scooping ice cream?" Galicia arched an eyebrow and they looked to Samantha.

"Exactly." And that's when the laughter started. The chat went from work to the upcoming war and then circled back to partners. Kate didn't have time just yet to look for someone, Samantha had parted ways with Lee since leaving Hogwarts and Galicia was still sending owls to Roger weekly. While he was training for the quidditch season.

"And you miss double trouble?" Kate smiled now more lively since having her coffee.

"W-what about me?" Samantha chuckled nudging her shoulder.

"How much are they doing you? Out of the four of us you're the only one getting any." (Y/n) sighed looking down to her second cup of tea as Samantha started poking her side rapidly to get an answer.

"At least five times a week. On average." Samantha spat out her tea into the air above the group coating each of them in a thin spray of milk tea.

"Nice one Sam." Kate breathed out wiping her face.

"Sorry. Five times a weak what the hell, how are you standing." (y/n) blushed while Galicia kicked Samantha under the table.

"Not here Sam, people are looking." Samantha now noticed the cafe was more quiet than before.

"What did i do?"

"Well you did become a sprinkler for a moment there." Kate said with a sigh and Samantha laughed.

"Whats been happening with your all seeing eye since we last saw you?" Galicia asked in a low whisper. This wasnt the best place to talk. (Y/n) shook her head.

"This isnt the best place, we can all head to Fred and Georges place to chat."

The girls went up unnoticed by the busy twins while they worked. (y/n) lit the fireplace and the girls sat around waiting for (y/n) to speak.

"I saw Dumbledore die." She breathed out and silence followed.

"Wait Dumbledore? The Dumbledore?" Samantha leant forward in her seat and Kate crossed her arms sighing.
