Alana's POV
I walked to the big house as they called it and looked for Chiron.
"Chiron!!!!"
"Child no need to yell I'm right here." Chiron came out of nowhere
" Right sorry can you show me to the Hermes cabin? "
" I can do better I'll give you a tour. "
" Great thanks. " I cheered although I was still upset at Annabeth for thinking I am in a relationship with Nico.
We walked past a strawberry fields where campers were picking berries while a... Satyr? Played a tune on some pipes
Chiron told me that the camp grew strawberry's for New York restaurants and Mount Olympus.
"It pays our expenses and the strawberries the almost no effort." Chiron explained
The forest is huge it took up at least a quarter of the valley.
"The woods are stocked, if you care to try your luck, but go armed."
"Huh?"
" You'll see. Capture the flag is on Friday night. " He looks at me
" What? "
" Do you have a sword and shield? "
" No. "
He sighed. " I didn't think you did. "
Than we saw the archery range, the canoe lake, the stables (which Chiron didn't like) the javelin range, the sing along amphitheater, and the arena. Where Chiron said they held sword and spear fights.
"Sword and spear fights?"
"Cabin challenges and all that. Not lethal. Usually. Oh yes, and there's the mess hall "
Chiron pointed to an outdoor pavilion framed in white Grecian columns on a hill overlooking the sea. There was a bunch of stone tables.
Finally he showed me the cabins there were twelve of them, nestled in the woods by the lake. They were arranged in a U, with two at the base and five in a row in either side.
There was also a path into the woods. Which Chiron said was for more cabins. He said after the Titian war Percy had made the god's promise to claim all there children. Also the minor god's kids got to come here. He showed me the all the cabins and than we headed to the last cabin on the left cabin eleven.
Out of all the cabins this one looked like and old regular cabin emphasis on the old.
"Alana this is the Hermes cabin try to make yourself at home."
"All right."
I walked in and Samantha and Matt came running to me.
"Finally I was getting bored!"
"Yeah! The girls kept talking about you and Nico!!!" Matt whined
"So you must be the other new camper." Two boys walked up to me.
"Yeah I'm Alana Smith."
"I'm Conner and that's Travis." The kid said and pointed to his twin
