"We're gonna need all the strength that we can get."

Those words are nerve racking.

Nico's POV
Still
:)

It's 6 in the morning and we're standing on what feels like death.

"I guess we just jump?" Alana says nervously biting her lip and I groan softly, but she doesn't hear me, luckily.

"Maby we climb down if we fall we probably won't be able to walk."

She sighs. "Alright you go first.

I huff and secure my backpack on my back. "We should've done this at a later time, you know when I'm actually awake."

Alana chuckles softly. "At least you ate."

I nod instead of climbing down a who knows how long wall on an empty stomach we have a full belly.

I carefully climb my way down knowing this would take a while.

"Nico." Alana gasps. "I-i need a break." She hangs onto the wall trembling. It feels like we've been climbing for hours and made no progress.

"Alright." I say supporting my weight on the wall. She shimmy down so she's next to me.

"I know this was gonna be hard but I didn't know this hard." She pants

I look at her, her face is streaked with sweat and her hair is limp but she still looks beautiful.

"I know." I say softly. "But if we fall in we would've lost all our supplies and broken every bone in our body."

She shivers. "Yeah I'd rather climb."

I chuckle softly. "Are you ready?"

"Ready as I'll ever be." She mutters.
I nod and we continue our descent.
