Alana's POV
"Good morning children." Chiron is on the porch.
" Hi Chiron. " We say.
"I hope you both are ready you guys have a long trip ahead of you. " He says like we're going to Disneyland.
" We just came for nectar and ambrosia. "
Chiron gives us a gallon size bag filled with ambrosia and a big canister full of nectar.
" What's in your guys bag? " He asks
"I have water, some no sleeve shirts, shorts, personal items, my phone, bandages, some food and a collapsible sleeping bag." I respond.
" Take out the phone. " Is all Chiron says
" Why? "
" When you call or send a message it's like sending up a flare. Monsters will come to attack you. "
" So stupid. " I mumble. "Can I at least message my dad before we leave? "
Chiron nods
I pull out my phone
Chat with Awesome sauce dad.
🍄🌿: Dad?
🍄🌿: Hey dad?
🍄🌿: Oh you might be at work sorry.
🍄🌿:I just wanted to let you know im going on a quest and I can't bring my phone but Chiron let me message you before I left.
🍄🌿:I wanted to let you know I love you and I'll text you when I get back.
I hand my phone to Chiron.
"Did he respond?"
"No. But he might be at work."
"Oh well keep me in the loop the best you two can and be safe." Chiron pulls out something. It's a bracelet.
" Your mom gave me this to give you for your trip. " He explains
It's a slivery bracelet with a blue stone set in the middle.

" Uh thanks. "
" When you need it press on the stone. " He says like that cleared up everything.
We walk to the hill where the many eyed dude is.
"Can you take us to the train station Argus?"
Argus nods and opens the door for us.
" Thanks. " I say to him and he gives a small smile.
I turn to Nico who's staring out the window.
" So what's the plan? "
" We play by ear. "
" I need more than that. "
" We take a train to Los Angeles go to the underworld stock up and supplies of we need to than jump into the big bad pit. "
" That's better. " I lay my head on the window. " Let me know when we get there. "
