Simba x reader 💌

Chapter 6

It was midday, the scorching sun was unbearable. You groaned. Even inside the comforts of the den which wasn't any cooler, you still panted. I should find simba,  you thought, yeah, that's a good idea since Rafiki said after a week of resting I can hunt again and it's almost time, I won't be able to talk to simba much after this hiatus I've taken from hunting.  You thought.

So you trotted over to his den, unsurprisingly he was inside, to your delight.

"Hello simba" you smilied. "Oh y/n hello." He said. 

You two talked for a while before being interrupted. "Simba!" Akilia, a lioness shouted. "There's hye..nas on the pride..lands" she said panting, and breathing heavily. "What?" Simba shouted, "gather all the lionesses that are well enough to hunt, come on, we have to go." He said.

Oh my this isn't terrible! What's happe- WAIT,  you thought intensely, it can't be because I killed one of their hyenas? Are they mad? Are they going to retaliate? You thought, letting your worst thoughts take over your mind, it definitely wasn't a good idea, but why else would they hyenas be on the pridelands? Great now every lion in this pride will think poorly of me.  You said sourly. And I don't blame them..  you thought.

The sun was setting when everyone who went had came back. Zari walked into the den, with a few scratches. "Zari? Are you okay??" You exclaimed, "huh..? Oh yeah, I'm fine." She muttered. "What happened with the hyenas—? Surely it wasn't good because you guys were gone for a good while." You asked

 "well.. they got upset because a lion from our  pride killed a hyena from their pack. This made them mad.. as you can expect.." she said "this is terrible this is all my fault I shouldn't have killed that hyena" you said 

"yeah" she said "they attacked us" but thankfully no major injuries and no deaths" she said, "well.. that's good" you said

 "yeah they surrendered, because we almost killed another one of those ghastly hyenas." She said, almost laughing at the suffering of the hyenas. "But.. knowing hyenas, they'll probably come back, and attack when we least expect them. All the lionesses are training to get better at pouncing and such, so we can be prepared." She said

"Well I guess it's not as bad as I thought" you said under your breath as a wave of relief overtook your body. "Did you say something?" Zari said, "nope" you said while mustering a smile. The pride was not in the best of shape, but maybe it can recover.

A/N sorry not for posting these past few days! I lost my iPad, but thankfully I found it! Also expect higher quality chapters because, my birthday is on June 12, Andy I've been saving up for a new iPad (air) and pencil, my parents will pay for whatever's I can't afford (💀) but yeah! Really excited for that :)
