To all the days we have been together since August
The moments we turned to reminisce, relive, and remember
September to October flew by a blur
Long as they were, the time we spent looking back became shorter
We tied our invisible strings in fleeting days leading up to November
During which we became closer than ever
December arrived, stalling the new year
But, alas, January marked a new beginning with new hopes for ease
To every dread we have faced throughout February, March, and April
We have survived it all with existential driven prowess
And suddenly, as if by magic, May turned into June
July would come next, another month before we leave the nest
So I am writing this before it ends tomorrow
A farewell, a thank you, and hurrah
Despite all odds, we have survived together
Your words, presence and comfort have made my days infinitely happier.
