Welcome to the second part of the Destiny: Eclipse series, Primordial Evil
The first part, Day of Ruin, was pretty good. To me, at least.
You were introduced to Pariah and Dexter, as well as their strange "ally", Lady Ghost. At the end, Pariah and Dexter's own timeline collapses, and the three of them are flown headfirst into a conflict they (and you) know nothing about.
Now, they begin their chase after the being responsible for the Shattering of timelines, only known as Morphyte.
This story is what my friend calls "the calm before the storm". It is a character and dialogue driven narrative, and tension is the key.
