We began again training the next day, this time with a Deadly Nadder and lots of wooden walls that were placed around like a maze. You all began, scattering around, then the dragon was released.
"Hey, you know, I just happened to notice the book had nothing on Night Fury's", Hiccup asked Gobber, "Is there maybe another book, or a sequel? Maybe a little Night Fury pamphlet?"
Hiccup got distracted and the Nadder had a good and clear shot at hitting him, it's roar grabbed Hiccups attention, so he managed to barely jump out of the way in time.
"Wow- uh", he said after almost dying for the millionth time.
"Focus Hiccup! You're not even trying!", Gobber said to him, trying to make him pull his head in.
The Nadder came back after him and he ran off.
"Today its all about ,attack!" Gobber yelled to everyone liked they haven't already realised the fact that they probably need to attack. "Nadder's are quick and light on their feet, your job is to be quicker and lighter!".
The dragon jumped on top of the wooden walls and went after Fishlegs, its tail spiked up and they shot as him, he ran so most of them landed in the wall but some managed to get into his shield.
"I'm really beginning to question your teaching methods!", Fishlegs yelled, still running away from the dragon.
"Look for its blind stop! Every dragon has one. Find it, hide in it and strike!", Gobber was basically telling everybody what to do yet almost everybody couldn't manage to get it right.
The twins although did find the blind spot, it was right in front of its face because its eyes were more to the side of its head rather than the front. But they started arguing.
"Ehg- do you ever bathe?", Ruffnut asked her brother, which she was standing behind.
"If you don't like it, the just get your own blind spot", Tuffnut said shoving his sister. She turned to face him so they were now no longer in the blind spot and have ruined their chances for survival.
"How about I give you one!?", Ruffnut yelled in the brothers face, hitting her helmet against his, causing him to do it back.
They both heard the dragon screech and Ruffnut ran off, grabbing her brother by the arm.
"Blind spot yes, deaf spot, not so much, hehe", Gobber said.
"Hey, uh, so how would one sneak up on a Night Fury?" Hiccup stopped running and asked Gobber.
"No one's ever met one and lived to tell the tale. Now get in there!", Gobber pointed him away when he yelled.
You ran back because you realised Hiccup disappeared when he was running behind you. You grabbed his arm and pulled him back into training.
"Hiccup, get down", you whispered to him as you crouched down with Astrid and Snotlout.
Astrid peaked her head around the corner, and quickly pulled it back behind the wall. She checked again then did a roll using her shield, followed by Snotlout, you and then Hiccup, accept his wasn't as successful has the rest of you. He didn't finish it so the Nadder noticed and began chasing after him, again. It tried to take a bite out of him but just missed. The Nadder then jumped on top of the walls and jumped in front you, Astrid and Snotlout.
"Watch out Babes, I'll take care of this", Snotlout said, you and Astrid shared an eyeroll. He threw his weapon and completely missed and hit the wall beside the Nadder instead.
"The sun was in my eyes girls". Snotlout stated again. The Nadder shot at them again but they all began running down and out of the way just in time.
"What do you want me to do, block out the sun?", Snotlout said still going on about it as they ran. "I could do that but I don't have time right now".
