You make it to dinner without anyone noticing your late and you sit next to Hiccup on the edge of the chair, your eating on large wooden platform built over the water instead of the Great Hall like you usually do.

"And with one twist, he took my hand and swallowed it whole! I saw the look on its face, I was delicious. He must have passed the word because it wasn't a month before another one of them took my leg", Gobber was telling every body the story of how he lost his arm and his leg.

"Isn't it weird to think your hand was inside a dragon? Like if your mind was still in control of it, you could've killed the dragon from the inside by, crushing his heart or something". Fishlegs shared his idea with everybody and no one seemed to care much, like usual.

"I swear, I'm so angry. I'll avenge your beautiful hand and your beautiful foot. I'll chop off the legs of every dragon I fight, with my face", Snotlout was being aggressive and talking about killing things like always.

"Its the wings and the tails you really want, If it can't fly, it can't get away. A downed dragon is a dead dragon". Gobber corrected Snotlout's killing method and yawned.

Hiccup grabbed your hand again and quickly pulled you down the stairs and out of the group before anyone noticed.

"All right I'm off to bed. You should be too. Tomorrow we get to the big boys, slowly but surely making out way up to the Monstrous Nightmare. But who'll win the honour of killing it?". We heard Gobber finished his sentence in the distance as we headed for the Workshop.

Hiccup got out his little journal with the drawing in it and he re-drew the left tail fin. You then started to help him create some thing to fix that. A left tail fin made of leather and a lot of metal.

Hiccup stopped you before you both went in, "If you give him the food, do you think he'll trust he more since you fed him?"

"Yeah, I think he would, pass me that", you said to him grabbing the large basket.

"Be careful its heavy, I can barely carry it", Hiccup said letting you grab it.

"You can barely carry anythi- ah!", you yelped slightly as the weight of the basket pulled you down to the ground.

"Haha, see I told you", Hiccup laughed at you.

"Yeah real funny I get it", you got up and you took at second to adjust to the weight of it but you got a good grip and you made your way down.

"Hey, Toothless", Hiccup said to the dragon, you just gave him a wave.

"We brought you breakfast, I hope- I hope your hungry", Hiccup said. You were carrying the big basket of fish for him so you put it down on the ground and you kicked it over.

"Okay, that's disgusting", Hiccup said walking around the large pile of fish on the ground.

"Uh- We've got some salmon, some nice Icelandic cod and a whole smoked eel", Hiccup listed the fish that was piled on the ground, but Tootless's expression changed when the word 'eel' came up.

Toothless sniffed the pile and growled, extracting his teeth. Hiccup pulled the eel out and Toothless yelped. Hiccup then proceeded to throw the eel away and tried to calm Toothless down.

"No, no, no, no, no! No, it's okay. Yeah, I don't really like eel much either", he said, successfully calm the dragon down as he began to eat.

Hiccup began to slowly move around the side of the dragon with the leather tail fin.
