"I think I'm really getting the hang of this." You said to Valka as she watched you shoot small spurts of fire from you hands.

"Yeah, I think in a month or two you'll be perfect." She responded with a chuckle.

"Hey, how's it going?" a voice yelled from behind you. You turned around and saw Astrid and Hiccup.

"Not too bad actually." You responded. Hiccup gave you a kiss on the cheek.

"See I knew you'd get this eventually." He said with a smirk.

But that was 4 months ago. 4 months ago when everything seemed to turn around for the better. 4 months ago when everything got worse.

October

You began growing distant to everyone, even Hiccup. No one was sure why.

"We have to leave." You said firmly to D/N. He gave you a confused look. "I can feel it." He gave you another confused look. "There is something inside of me, it wants to get out. It's not like the fire outburst. It's something worse. Makes me wanna throw up." D/N grabbed your arm in his tail and started to drag you to Gothi. "No, they can't know. I can't worry everybody."

D/N dropped your arm as a knock was heard at the door. You opened the door it Hiccup was standing there.

"Hey, I haven't seen you all day, I was just wondering if you were okay." He said with a soft smile.

"Don't worry about me I'm fine." You responded walking outside with him. "I've just got a lot on my mind recently."

"Wanna talk about it?" Hiccup asked grabbing your hand.

"No, I'd rather keep it too myself."

"That's fine, but I'll always be here." He leaned in and gave you a kiss which you gladly returned. You turned around, heading back inside your house.

D/N gave you a look which basically said, 'how are you gonna leave that'.

"I know, I know. Maybe it'll go away, I don't wanna leave him." You sighed and sat down.

November

It had gotten worse. The feeling pooled in your stomach, but now it tries to crawl up your throat.

"Y/N." You father called from outside your bedroom door. You gave no answer. "I'm coming in."

You were curled up against the head of your bed.

"What's wrong ?" He sat next to you and put a hand on your knee.

You couldn't bare to look at him, you felt if you moved it would spill out.

"Look at me, Y/N." He said moving a little closer.

"Go away." You told him as the feeling grew stronger.

"Y/N I can't just leave you like this." He said.

"Please." Tears started to fill your eyes, you still refused to look at him.

"Y/N."

"Leave, please." The feeling was at the back of your throat.

"I can't-." You father was interrupted by you doubling over and groaning. "Y/N!"

"Leave!" You yelled at him. "Agh!" There is was, it was out, it consumed you.

"I'll get Gothi." He said running out, only for the door to slam in this face, but no one was there to slam it. "Y/N, did you do that?"

"I don't..know." You said in between groans. "You have to leave."

"Open the door." He said.

"I can't!" You yelled.

Your father tried to open the door but no matter what he tried to do it wouldn't work. Everything around you started to burn.

"No!" You yelled, still doubled over.

"Y/N! Stop!" He yelled.

"I can't! I'm sorry." You yelled again.

The fire started to reach your father. He began screaming in pain. All you could do is watch, you couldn't move, your body wouldn't let you. You cried, as your father screamed.

"I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!" You pleaded with him.

The screaming came to a stop followed by a thud. The fire continued to consume the house but you gain back a small amount of strength, just enough to roll of the bed and onto the floor. You crawled to your father, he didn't even look like anything anymore just a heap of blood, skin and bones. You managed to stand up and slowly move downstairs, through all the fire. It didn't burn you, it just surrounded you. You could feel it, but it didn't hurt. Your ears were bleeding, so was your nose. You could hear voices outside yelling. You walked through the front door and everyone stopped and stared at you. You panicked and ran into the woods. Yells were heard after you. D/N flew after you and eventually caught up.

"We should've left before." You told him. "We can't stay here anymore." D/N just looked at you. "I didn't mean too, you know I didn't. And Hiccup will just have to live without me. And it's not like I can go back into the village everyone probably hates me now. Well I need to get a couple things from the workshop before we go so I guess we will need to go back."

You walked back out from the woods and when everyone saw you they panicked. Yells and whispers were followed. You saw Hiccup and he ran up to you, before he could say anything you told him.

"I'm leaving." You said blankly.

"Look, I'm sure we can figure something out, but you don't have to leave." Hiccup pleaded.

"No, not this time." You said, pushing past him.

"I love you." Hiccup said.

"Throwing that around won't change anything." You kept moving and entered the workshop. When you did you were flooded with memories.

"Mild calibration issue-", Hiccup tried to explain himself.

"Hiccup! If you ever want to get out there to fight dragons you need to stop all of this", Gobber gestured to Hiccup. You giggled.

"But you just pointed to all of me", Hiccup responded, yet again throwing his arms around.

"Yes, that's it! Stop being all of you", Gobber said triumphantly.

"Thor almighty", you said under your breath looking down with your hand to your head starting to laugh.

"Ohhh", Gobber said.

"Oh, yes", Hiccup said in response.

You stopped for a minute and smiled to yourself, but then realised that you had to keep going. You grabbed a couple of your things from the back and put them in a bag.

"Y/N, please." Hiccup pleaded again.

"I'm sorry." You said to him. "And I do love you but I need to go."

"No." Hiccup said.

"Please let me go." You walked out past him and jumped on D/N. "Goodbye."

You flew away and he stayed silent. You didn't know where you were gonna go but you needed to get as far a possible.
