"Well, bud, we can't wait around for Drago to attack this place." Hiccup said, referring to the large 'dragon sanctuary' his mother had provided. You and Valka were off some place else, getting to know each other better while Hiccup was with Toothless and the other large majority of the dragons. "We've gotta find him first. Lets go-" Hiccup was cut off by a hand around his mouth, it was Stoick. Toothless growled and got defensive.

"Easy now." Stoick said, which calmed him down.

"Are you kidding me? How did you get in here?" Hiccup asked as Stoick let him out of his grip.

The same way we are getting you out." Stoick replied.

"We?" Hiccup asked.

"All clear." Gobber said, coming out of nowhere.

"Toothless, come." Stoick said.

"Wait. There's something you need to know." Hiccup tired to tell him about Valka but like always he didn't listen. They entered a maze like area with grey stone walls.

"Yeah, yeah, tell me on the way, we gotta find Y/N." Stoick said.

"Well, this isn't an on-the-way kind of update, actually." Hiccup responded.

"I've heard enough." Stoick said firmly.

"Well its more of the, earth-shattering-development variety." Hiccup tried to explain again.

"Yeah, just add it to the pile." Stoick said.

"Dad, unlike most surprises I spring on you, this one you'll like." Hiccup was still trying to get his dad to listen as he followed him in through a maze of large grey rocks. "I promise. You just have to handle it delicately."

They both saw Gobber staring into an icy room and stopped behind him. He awkwardly turned around to face Hiccup and Stoick.

"Eh, you might want to take this one." Gobber said, walking in the gap between them, putting his hand on Stoick's shoulder.

"Huh?" Stoick said softly.

"Oh, boy." Gobber said sitting down.

Stoick pulled out his sword, which got a very worried expression from Hiccup.

"Oh. Uh...Dad, Could you put the sword away, please?" Hiccup was yet again trying to convince his father to do something but, surprise, he was unsuccessful.

Stoick shuffled into the room, squeezing between the gap, to which he was expecting some sort of enemy, only to be met with his wife. His eyes widened and he gasped. Valka had about the same reaction. Stoick dropped his sword and took off his helmet. You realised what was happening, so you briskly walked away from Valka and over to Hiccup, grabbing his hand.

"I know what you're gonna, Stoick. How could I have done this? Stayed away all these years? And why didn't I come back to you? To our son? Well, what sign did I have that you could change, Stoick?" HE slowly started to come closer. "That anyone on Berk could? I pleaded so many times to stop the fighting, to find another answer, but did any of you listen?"

"This is why I never married. This and one other reason." Gobber said to you and Hiccup quietly.

"I know that I left you to raise Hiccup alone, but I thought he's be better off without me." Stoick was getting very close to her and she started to move back. "And I was wrong, I see that now, but." Her back hit the icy wall. "Oh! Stop being so stoic, Stoick! Go on. Shout, scream, say something!" She pleaded as he brought his hand up toward her face. Her face was shocked when he had gently placed his hand on her cheek, he looked at her with soft loving eyes.
