"Hey there Stoick" A man said to the chief.

"Hey, how are you? Beautiful day" He responded. "Hello, Spitelout. Great race. Oh, sorry, Mrs. Ack." He said again, almost running into a lady. "Any sign on him?" He whispered to Gobber.

"Ah! He's probably flown off the edge of the world by now. Are you sure you want that kid running the village? You can still delay your retirement." Gobber responded, fixing a dragons tooth.

"He's ready. You'll see." Stoick said, just as You, Hiccup and Astrid got back. "There he is! Huh?"

Hiccup landed and you jumped off as he removed his helmet.

"The pride of Berk!" Stoick continued.

"Who finally decided to show up for work. Yay" Gobber Said sarcastically.

"Sorry. We got held up." Hiccup said referring to the both of you.

"Hey uh, Dad, could we have a word." Hiccup said with you walking beside him.

"Something you're itching to tell me?" Stoick put his hands on Hiccups shoulders and shook him slightly.

"Not quiet the itch you're thinking of, but yes." Hiccup said.

"Oh! Good man! Now lesson 1." Stoick handed him an apron. "A chief's first duty is to his people, so, 41!"

"Can we just talk in private?" You asked grabbing Hiccup's shoulder letting him know you were trying to help.

"Forty-" Stoick continued.

"That's me! That's me! I'm next!" A man yelled.

Stoick sent Hiccup a wink. We both had worried looks.

"If we could just talk-" Hiccup tried to talk to him.

"Excuse me. I've been here all day." The man said walking forwards. "Okay, okay. I want one of those high seaters with lots of spikes and a big storage compartment."

"Absolutely. You got it, sir." Stoick said proudly.

"Dad, this is actually a little more important than building saddles." Hiccup said, still trying to grab his attention.

"Ah! Lesson two. No task is too small when it comes to serving your people." Stoick still kept going.

"Dad, can we just talk-" Hiccup was yet again interrupted.

"Grump! You et the forge die down again!" Gobber yelled at his dragon. The dragon then almost burnt the entire workshop down.

"There you go. Go on. Have away." Stoick handed Hiccup tools.

"Yeah but seriously, we really need to tell you about this new land we come across." Hiccup said, picking the tools up.

"Another one!?" Gobber exclaimed.

"Any new dragons?" Fishlegs asked out of nowhere.

"We didn't stick around to find out." You added.

"These folks weren't particularly friendly." Hiccup said, looking at you for a second.

"Oh, really? Your Night Fury and Deadly Nadder didn't bring them cheering to the rooftops?" Gobber asked sarcastically.

"No, this was different. Not the standard run-for-the-hills hoo-ha I've come to enjoy." hiccup added. "These guys were trappers."

"Dragon trappers." You added. "You should've seen their fort. All blown apart and stuck in giant spikes of ice."

"It was weird." Astrid came up behind you and joined the conversation.
