"explain to me why i'm here again?" heeseung requests from an excited hana.

it's the last day of the weekend and instead of getting some rest, he's been out and about for the past few hours all because hana wants to watch 'some' movie.

"come on, don't be like that. think of this as doing me a favor" she tries to convince him but his grimace is unchanging.

"what about your friends?"

"they're busy" she simply answers, not taking her eyes off the front of the queue they're on.

"and what about jake?"

he doesn't at all mean to sound sore but as he's heard from jake himself, he knows that they've been chatting a lot on kakaotalk after exchanging contacts that night.

"he's busy as well"

he is beyond shocked and so he gives her a look of disbelief, as if to say 'you actually asked him?!'.

if he's being honest, he's also a little bit offended that he was literally her last choice.

she spares him a glance then and chuckles at his expression.

"i'm just joking" she reveals, giving him a playful shove to get him to loosen up but it doesn't work.

"not funny" he grumbles.

the movie is actually decent.

it's the most decent he's seen in a while, at least. but he can't focus on the plot with hana beside him. he's sure anyone would find it hard to concentrate if the person right beside them was as good as a glorified sound effects machine.

"wow..." the aforementioned girl mutters under her breath as her eyes dart around to take in everything that's happening on the screen all at once.

he likens her to a little child in lotte world. while he really isn't one to be fond of noise during times like this, nevertheless, he doesn't say much about it.

things, however, take a turn- he can't tell if it's for the better or the worse- when the film gets to its climax.

it's the most anticipated moment, the revelation of the killer, and hana just can't stop squirming in her seat.
