The day went slower, with people rushing around and getting out of your way when you enter a hall way. It gets annoying.

As I walked I gained more and more stares as I went.

I was sitting in my chemistry class when I heard chatter. I couldn’t help but hear.

“Did you hear that she was only away for the summer because she apparently got knocked up but one of the jocks?”

“No way, I also heard that she got sent to a mental institution I mean talk about crazy, it explains the situation this morning with Cassie and her group.”

“It all makes sense now, poor girl.”

I scoffed under my breath, did they really think that? Is that why they get out of my way because apparently I got knocked up and got sent to an institution for the summer? This has got to be a joke.

When the bell rang signalling end of class, I grabbed my stuff and few out the door and in to the empty halls.

I went straight to my locker as everyone went to the cafeteria.

Instead of opening my locker I leaned my head up against it hoping it would give me answers.

The answers that I need to help me through this.

I slowly made my way in opening my locker and grabbed my books for the next half of the day.

Did I mention that this day was going slow?

I walked towards the cafeteria and heard loud chatter, it made me smile, something other than silence.

I opened the doors to see the cafeteria was crowded. I let the doors close behind me but it shut with a click.

A click that had echoed through the room, all eyes fell on me.

It’s like I was a leader, when everyone saw me they all ran to their seats and stayed silent, what is this?

I turned my back and headed back out to the halls, but bumped into something.

I was about to fall but strong arms came around my waist.

“Sorry about that, I didn’t see you come out of the lunch room, are you okay?”

I turned around and looked up into a pair of hazel eyes that felt like they seeped into my head.

I snapped out of my gaze and looked away.

“It’s fine don’t worry about it, it was my fault I should have looked before walking, and I’m fine thanks for asking.”

I looked back up to see that he was looking at something.

“Ugh do I have something on my face?”

He seemed to snap out of it when I questioned him.

“Huh oh no, it’s just that your eyes, there really blue.”

My eye brown furrowed together and my cheeks heated.

I saw that he too was blushing.

I felt him move like he was nervous. That’s when I noticed his arms were still around my waist.
