Chapter 5 Part 5

Sophie: I guess the tunnel's useless...

Hanako: Maybe it's just some sewage pipe. 

Rachel: That's disgusting, and also I don't think a sewage pipe would be that clean, I mean there was barely any smell in there. 

Ashlyn: But doesn't that mean it has to have had some kind of usage? What use would a secret tunnel from the library to the gymnast shop have? It's not like we can't just walk straight over.

Hanako: Well, we didn't notice the hatch when we investigated the gymnast shop, and the door from the library was also hidden. This means we probably weren't meant to discover that.

Rachel: In cases like these, Monokuma should be popping out of nowhere right? Why haven't we seen the bear in a while?

We all looked to Sophie for guidance.

Sophie: Dunno. 

Ashlyn: Well, that tunnel was useless, so I don't think it's really meant for much. 

Rachel: Ashlyn's right, let's just ignore it for now and we can tell the rest later. 

Hanako: Do we still have time for checking the books in the library?

Rachel: It's almost noon, I think we can go check them another time, Chloe and Yu Xuan are probably waiting at the laundromat already. 

Hanako: Oh okay, then let's go over.

Sophie: I wonder what clothes they chose for us. 

We made our way over to the laundromat. As predicted, Chloe, Yu Xuan were already there.

Chloe was holding a stack of buckets, while Yu Xuan held a big plastic bag filled with what seemed to be clothes. 

Chloe: Hey guys, we got the stuff ready, so we can finally go get washed up and changed. 

Hanako: What's all this stuff?

Chloe: You know that storage room that's always been closed off on level 5? We went to check, and found out that it opened!

Yu Xuan: There were a bunch of buckets in there, as well as some sponges, so we brought them along.

Chloe: We went to check the pharmacy too, and we found some two-in-one shampoo, deodorant, toothbrushes, face wash, towels.... Everything.

Yu Xuan: We're gonna be so refreshed after this. 

Sophie: I didn't expect all this, I thought we were just changing...

Chloe: There's no use changing if your body is still dirty, idiot! We need to clean ourselves before changing!

Sophie: How about Ashton?

Yu Xuan: We told him, and he just decided to go clean up on the fifth floor. He'll meet us at the laundromat once he's done.

Rachel: What clothes did you pick out for us? 

Yu Xuan: Not much, we got them all in large so everyone could be comfy and loose, but they're mostly all just graphic tees from the clothing store. For bottoms we have some shorts, so it should be all good. 

Ashlyn: Thank you so much, if I have to wear jeans for one more day...

Sophie: Hold on hold on, how are we going to wash up in a mall bathroom? That's gross. 

Chloe: Which is why Yu Xuan and I rinsed down the floor with soap water. Come on Sophie, these are all excuses, the bathroom is super clean now, you could walk inside barefoot. 

Sophie grumbled a bit, but complied anyway. 

Yu Xuan: We did check, and there's only cold water though, so it's going to be a bit painful.
