Randi: Haven't you done enough? What? What is it?
Monokuma: Let's play another tape, shall we?
Randi: NO! No more tapes! I've seen enough- I KNOW ENOUGH!
The TV came down, and I heard everyone sigh. We knew what was about to come wasn't going to look good.
Sumana appeared on the screen. She wore a white hospital gown and was sitting on an examination table similar to the one in the mall's clinic. Her skin looked dull and dark bags sat under her eyes, but other than the tired expression, it seemed like nothing was bothering her.
A doctor appeared in the doorway and sat next to Sumana. He had a clipboard in his right hand and a few brain scans in the other.
Doctor: Good morning, Sumana. How are you feeling this morning?
Sumana: Okay I guess. I'm really tired.
Doctor: Now, I understand the nurses went to your room earlier to ask you a couple questions about yesterday, and I have your answers on my document. Now I want you to answer me again, do you remember what happened?
Sumana: What... Happened?
Doctor: Yes. I want you to answer me truthfully. Do you remember what you did yesterday afternoon?
Sumana: Yesterday afternoon?
Doctor: Yes, you were with your friends Hannan and Annan, who I assume you're close with.
Sumana: Hannan?
Doctor: Yes. What did you do with her?
Sumana: Hannan and... Annan...
Sumana's eyes widened. She remembered Hannan's deal.
Sumana: No, uh, oh yes, we were at- We were at the cafe to celebrate Hannan's birthday.
Doctor: Did anything happen there?
Sumana: No.
Doctor: Are you sure?
Sumana: Yes.
Doctor: Alright, then. Do you know what happened to the other girl there by the name of [REDACTED]?
This time, the runner's face was completely blank as she searched for an answer.
Sumana: Lemme think... No. I don't remember such a person.
Doctor: I do understand you all called her by the nickname "K".
Sumana: I don't know who that is, sorry.
Doctor: You don't remember what you did to her?
Sumana: Um, no? Enlighten me.
Doctor: Nevermind. Are you sure you don't know her?
Sumana: Positive. Was she a friend of Hannan or Annan?
Doctor: No just forget I mentioned her. You may go now, thank you.
Sumana left the examination room quietly, shutting the door before the doctor locked it and dialled a number on his office phone.
Doctor: Yea, Teresa? Sumana doesn't remember [REDACTED].
A pause.
Doctor: She remembers she was there with Hannan and Annan, but not the girl she killed. She doesn't even remember her name.
Another pause as the doctor looked through the brain scans.
Doctor: Her brain scans also show signs of memory loss. Could be due to the large amounts of trauma subjected to her young brain in the span of a few minutes.
