Log 17

Halo

     We rode out to the four winds. To the horse clans of the plain, to the ikran people of the mountains. When Toruk Macto called them, they came. All the while i stood next to Kal'el, he stood beside me through the whole thing. When the time came we got on our ikrans and clung to the mountains. We flew down attacking the gunships. One gunship was specifically targeting me, and when i came into view of the window i understood why. Through the window i could see it was Caitlyn. She stared right into my soul, and i stared right back. I wasnt scared of her anymore,  I challenged her to fight me, to try and even get  scratch on me. You know what they say, the first to make a move always wins. I drew and shot and arrow at the window and flew off. 

     Caitlyn kept following me, Kal'el doing his best to distract her. "Kal'el! Protect the others! She's after me!!" I yelled, telling Maeve to fly faster to lead Caitlyn's ship away from the others. "COME AT ME BITCH!!!" I yelled to her, loud enough for her here. She shoved the driver out of her seat and took the wheel, shooting missals at me at rapid fire. Her shots were enough to knock the bow out of my hand which meant i was now stuck flying away from her till she ran out of canon fodder. "Jake, she blew my bow! What do i do?!" I yelled through the com link, flying more erratically the more panicked i got. 

     "Evade! Evade! Do not engage! That is an order! I repeat, Do not engage!" Jake yelled back. I was becoming more panicked. I had no way of defending myself. I knew i was either gonna get seriously injured, or die. I started praying, hoping that by some miracle i would be able find some way to stop her. I decided for once to ignore Jake's orders, and use the brute muscle of Maeve to attack. I took a moment to stare into Maeve's eyes, asking if she trusted me in what i was about to do. She looked back at me with a looked of utter trust. 

     Shifting my position on the saddle of offensive, I flew down at rapid speed. Maeve used her claws to puncture holes in the window, now Caitlyn had the gas to worry about. I sounded out, a war call. Kal'el knew it, Jake knew it. "Halo! I said do not engage!!" I kept ignoring, and continued to attack. I quickly stopped down and grabbed one of gunmen from the hole in the window. I heard an Ikran call, looking behind me i saw Kal'el and his Ikran. "Ma Halo! Take this! Fight her Ma Halo! Fight her!"

     He threw me his bow, and flew off doing his war call. I did my call back, but in the short time frame Caitlyn warship had flown off. I knew where is was going. She was going to the love shack! I flew after her, knowing that if I I didn't get there before her i was done for. I hoped off Maeve before i even hit the ground. Half of the love shack was gone leaving only the part that i was in. "Get away!" I yelled shooting at Caitlyn, but missing completely and shooting through the window. The alarm went off and gas started pouring in. I felt my soul slip from my body and the struggle to breathe came. 

     I crawled from the pod and tried to grab an expo pack but found that i could still breathe. It clicked for me, i was from human blood and dna from the natives. I have the bone density, the strength but more importantly the ability to breathe Pandora air. So i ditched the idea of the expo pack, and ran out the love shack. I felt my stomach turn, but i kept it back knowing i only had so long. I ran over to my avatar and grabbed the bow which was massive in my hand. "Halo... i am so disappointed." Caitlyn said, standing on top of the love shack. 

     I hissed, which sounded a lot less threatening in my human body. "I will kill you... as many times as i fucking have to! You cold... heartless... RDA compliant excuse for a mother!!! YOU DON'T GET TO HAVE THIS PLANET IT IS MINE!!!" My voice was hoarse, i sounded sick. She laughed, a sick cruel laugh. "May your aim, be as true as your heart... is pure" She sai, daring my to shoot. She didnt think i had the gull or the strength to shoot. I drew back, staring dead at her, I heard and Ikran land but i was so focused on getting this demon out.

     I shot the arrow, hitting her square in the heart. With her body, i dropped the bow and fell to my knees, the nausea finally taking over. "Ma Halo!" I rolled onto my back, my breathing becoming hoarse. It was Kal'el, he pulled me into his lap and placed his hand on my face. "I see you, Ma Halo." He said it with so much love, as if we were the only people in the world. "I see you." My hand compared to his head was tiny, but i stared at him with a look i never thought i would give anyone...
