The avatar and the native. Avatar OCxOC

So this tory was born from my desire to make an avatar story, and because i do not want to destory the canon of James Cameron's movie(s) Avatar (beyond the plot im going to disrupt with my characters existence) the shipped characters in this story are that of my own creation

You don't exactly dream in cryo, and when you wake up it doesn't feel like you got any rest. No what it feels like, or at least what it felt like for me was the bar fight i got into in a couple years back, before i joined the avatar program. My name on file is Halo Rodriguez, my mother joined the avatar program right after i was born, leaving me on earth with my older brother. He would later die from kidney failure which my mothers benefits where supposed to cover but didn't. When I turned 19, i saw an ad on screen that they needed avatar drivers for the avatar program, so i signed up. It meant i would get to see my mother again and get off of this failing god awful planet. 5 years later, at the age of 24, we arrived to the planet of pandora where i would be spending the next few years of my life as an avatar driver.
