25. Bad News

Two days later:

Chris's Pov: 

Y/n's concussion has gotten worse, we don't know how but she is getting a lot more migraines she has be asleep and unresponsive a lot more, I am very worried about her and the baby, and so are my brothers

Y/n had to go through an x-ray so they could see if anything else happened with her head over the days, so Matt and nick dragged me out of the hospital, and I mean literally, they both grab one of my arms and pulled me out of the hospital so I could eat some actual food and not granola bars or soda from the vending machines, we went to mcdonalds, and got some food

I was eating my my big mac in the car with my brothers when the hospital calls my phone

"Yes?" I say once I answer the phone

"Is this Christopher sturniolo?" The doctor asks

"Yes this is he" I say 

"I need to inform you on some bad news about..y/n" the doctor says

I then sit up more in my seat and set down my big mac

"Y/n has gone into a coma due to the concussion, and we have trying everything we could to wake her back up, but none of it worked, so we just have to wait now, and hope she will wake up" the doctor explains to me

"Oh my god, thank you for telling me all of this, can we still visit her?" I ask

"Yes you can, all three of you guys can visit her, whenever you'd like to" he tells me

"Thank you" I say 

"Your welcome" he says 

And then I hang up, tears immediately form in my eyes

"What did he say?" Matt asks

I tell them what he said about y/n and what has happened

"Oh my god" nick says

I pick up my big mac and take a bite of it as I rest my elbow on the window sill of the closed window in the car and rest my head on the window

"Matt can you drive back to the hospital? So I can talk to y/n? And call mom?" I ask Matt with a few tears rolling down my face

"Of course I will, you dont need to ask" matt says and he starts to drive back to the hospital

Once we get to the hospital I am done eating all of my food, we all get out of the car and walk into the hospital I walk the same familiar path that I have walked for the past three or four days, I don't remember how many I can't keep track, I've just been thinking abt y/n all this time

We get to her room and I knock on the door, the doctor opens the door, he nods at us and we nod back at him, I walk into y/n's room and I see her lying in her bed, her eyes are closed and the only thing that I can hear is y/n's health monitor going *beep*...*beep*...*beep* saying that she is alive, which is good

I walk over to the same side of her bed that I have been at for days

"Can I be alone with her for a few?" I turn to my brothers and the doctor, they all say yes and leave the room

I grab her hand and put my other one on her belly, I take a deep breath "Y/n, sweety im so sorry, I shouldn't have chased you down the stairs, just please wake up, just please be alright for both you and the baby, please, I love you both so much" I say to y/n

I look up at her face, and she hasn't moved, she is just lying here breathing, I lean forward and place a long kiss on her forehead

I take a few seconds and just look at her, hoping that she makes a sound or moves, but she doesn't

I stand up and walk over to the door wiping the tears off of my face and opening it letting Matt and nick back inside

We walk over to her bed

Matt rests his hand on y/n's arm, "y/n please wake up and come back to us, just don't leave us please" he says

Matt then gets us signaling that it is nicks turn

Nick walks over to y/n and grabs her hand

"Come on y/n we all love you so much, please dont fail us right now, dont fail you and Chris's unborn baby, please come back, please wake up" nick says and then stands up and walks over to me and Matt

We all sit down on the couch

I look at the time and it is 8:37, I am so tired, and so is Matt and nick I can tell, I hear Matt and nick start whispering to each other

"So chris, me and nick are going to go back home, are you gonna come with us or stay here?" Matt asks me

"Im staying" I tell him

"Alright, goodnight, text us if anything happens" matt says

"Yea, goodnight chris" nick says

"Night guys" I say

Then matt and nick leave the room and go home for the night, I get up and walk over to y/n's bed again, I grab her hand

"Y/n baby please I love you with all of my heart I can't loose you please, I can't loose you or the baby, just please wake up, please dont leave me" I say while crying my eyes out resting my head on the side of her bed and I fall asleep holding her hand, talking to her, and resting my head next to her waist
