I wake up to matt shaking me and saying my name
My head was on the side of y/n's bed next to her, and I was holding her hand
"You good dude? You fell asleep" nick says
"Huh? Oh yea im good" I say as I sit up and stretch
"Ok good, it took me a a bit to wake you up" matt says
"Oh" I say
I look over at y/n to see if she is awake, but she isn't and her monitor is still beeping so that's good
"She still not awake?" I ask them
"Not while we have been here" nick says
"Ok" I say
"So what do you plan on doing today?" Matt asks me
"Calling ours and y/ns parents" I tell him
"Alright, want us to stay here?" Nick asks me
"Yea sure you guys can" I say and pull out my phone
"Lets call mom first" I say while opening her contact
I call mom and put her on speaker phone
"Hi" she says
"Hey mom, is dad there?" I ask her
"Yea, why?" She asks
"We need to tell you guys something, put the phone on speaker phone" I say
"Alright hold on let me get jimmy...jimmy!! I have the boys on speak phone and they need to tell us something!.....alright he'll be here in a second" Mary lou says
"Ok" nick says
"Alright hes here" mom says
"Im here, im here" dad says
"ok good, so to start off with, I proposed to y/n" I say
"Oh my god!! You did" mom says happily
"What did she say?" Dad.asks
"She said yes" I say
"Oh my gosh!! Congratulations christopher!" Mom says
"Well done bud, well done" dad says
"but I have some bad news" I say and start sniffling
"Oh no" mom says
"Are you crying chris?" Dad asks
"Yea, matt take over" I say and hand Matt the phone
"Well Chris was playfully chasing y/n around the house, and she slipped and fell down the stairs and hit her head really hard and now has a concussion, and it has gotten worse and she is now in a coma" matt explains to mom and dad
"Oh no oh no no no, poor y/n" mom says
"Ohhhh noo" dad says
"But we have more good news" nick says and takes the phone out of Matt's hands
"What?" Mom asks
"Y/n is also pregnant" nick says
"Whaaat, oh my gosh!! Im gonna be a grandma!!" Mom says
"Its yours right chris?" Dad says jokingly
"Yea it is!" I say
"Good" jimmy says chuckling a bit
"Alright well I gotta call y/ns parents and tell them the news" I say
"Ok bye guys, I hope y/n gets better" mom says
"Bye boys hope y/n gets better" dad says
"Bye love you guys" I say
"Bye love you boys" mom and dad say
Then I hang and get out y/ns phone, I put in her password and go onto her contacts I scroll and start looking for her moms and dads, I don't see them, then I get to the end, and they are the last two contacts, y/n hasn't really told me anything about he parents, only that her dad died about 4-5 years ago, her dads contact is the last and her moms is the second to last, I check the texts and the last text between them was over a year ago and they were not good texts... I decide to call her mom
"Im calling her mom" I tell Matt and nick
I put her mom on speaker phone
"What do you want?" Y/ns mom says
"hello, ma'am, this is Christopher sturniolo, your daughters fiance" I say
"What? Uh ok, and why wasn't I informed about the engagement?" Y/ns mom says kind of rudely
"Because I just proposed about 5 days ago, and I have some bad news, but first I need to know what your name is" I say
"Alright, my name is Amanda, whats the news? Just tell me already" Amanda says
"Um well y/n is in the hospital with a concussion that has gotten worse and she is now in a coma" I say
"Thats it? I thought you had some bad news-" Amanda says but she starts coughing a lot, like it was a bad cough
"Well she is also a couple weeks pregnant" I add
"WHAAAAT?!" Amanda screams
"SHES FUCKING PREGNANT?!?!?!?!?!!!!" Amanda yells
"You did this to my daughter, how dare you!!!" Amanda yells
"Amanda calm down, I didn't hurt her, ok?" I say trying to calm her down
"You better be a good husband and father because I never what to see or speak to you, my daughter or her child ever again!" Amanda says
"Ok ma'am, I just called you to inform you about your daughters current situation and that she could die" I say
"Ok thanks I guess, I could just find out from the newspaper when she's dead you know?" Amanda says
"Ok goodbye" I say and immediately hang up on her
"My god she sounded high" I said
"Yea higher than the clouds" nick says
Then the doctor comes in
"I did some tests on y/n while Chris was asleep in here this morning, and guys im sorry but its not looking good, we will keep her on for three maybe five more days im sorry" the doctor says
"What?! No!" Matt says
"We can't just give up on her!" I say loudly
Nick rushes over to y/n and grabs her hand, "y/n, y/n please please please wake up think about you and the baby, we need you to wake up please" nick says to y/n while a tear runs down his face
"im sorry boys" the doctor says and leaves the room
"No,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no" I say and back up to the wall and slide down it and cover my face as tears flowing down my cheeks
"Y/n just wake up! Goddammit!" Matt says
We all spend the night with y/n that night crying
