Im sitting in my house waiting on my dad, with y/n and our kids, but im sitting in the kitchen away from the triplets so they don't start asking questions again, I changed my clothes so they weren't blood stained, but my hands are still covered in dried blood.
Im just sitting there at the counter not knowing what to do or what will happen, im just in shock at what happened, why Stacey ever do this to me? I thought we would never have to see each other ever again...but I was wrong
"Hes here!" I hear y/n say loudly as I hear the front door opening, but I move from my spot, in fact my eyes don't even glance away from my blood covered hands
I hear y/n and my dad talking and then I here footsteps enter the kitchen I look up
"Hey bud" dad says as he sits across from me
"Dad dont.." I say while still looking down
"Dont what?" He says me
"Dont just sit there and act like nothing happened! Matt could be dead for all we know right now" I say as I lock eyes with him and tears roll down my face after another uncontrollably
"Im sorry, im stop, but ill take the kids from you for you and y/n to go to the hospital, me and Mary lou will go in a few hours" dad says looking down
"And please dont tell them what happened" I ask as he stands up
"I wont" he says as he leaves the room and goes back into the living room
Once I hear his car pull out of the drive way y/n then walks into the kitchen and comes up next to me
"We can go see them now" she says quietly while rubbing my back
I then stand up and put my hand on her back, basically pulling her with me to the car
"Your driving" I say as I hand y/n the keys
Once we get to the hospital I get out of the car and run inside with y/n running after me
I talk to the lady behind the counter and she leads us to Matt's room and then tells us where nicks room is
We then walk into Matts room and I see him laying on the bed with tubes hooked up to him and a hospital gown on him, it looks like he is sleeping or passed out
I immediately walk over to his side and sit on the bed next to him and hesitate but I place my hand over his and slightly hold his hand, once I do that I see his eyes open slowly
"Chris...." Matt says weakly
"Matt...are you ok?" I ask, not knowing what to say
"I mean I hope so" he says and then pulls down his night gown about an inch from the collar to show us the bandage "nothing other than this hurts" he says and then releases his night gown from his hand
"Do you know why Stacey did this?" I ask him
"What.she said to me was " I've hurt you in the past, now its time to hurt you in the future" and then she put the gun up to me, kissed my cheek and then shot me and nick ran in as soon as it happened and he jumped her but I tried to help him but she just stabbed him before I could pull her away from nick, and after that she just ran off, and then you showed up not long after" matt explains to me.slowly and quietly
"oh my god" I say
After talking to matt for.A bit more I then leave his room and go to nicks, once I get in there I see him laying on his side and he is also in a night gown which made me chuckle because if he didn't have that thin ass hospital blanket covering his back and under his ass would be hanging out in the open
"What the fuck are you laughing at?" Nick hisses
"You in a hospital gown" I say chuckling
"Is Matt ok?!" Nick quickly asks and his eyes get wide with worry
"Yes he is fine, and he told me the story" I say calming Nick down
"Ok good" nick says
Me and nick talk for a bit also then I get a call from dad
I answer
"Hi" I say as I step over to the other side of the room
"Hey we are on our way, are you gonna take the three c's back while we are there?" Dad asks confused
"yea we will, so they don't see their uncle Matt and nick like this" I say
"Alright bye i love you, we will be there in like 10 minutes" dad says
"Ok bye I love you too" I say before he hangs up on me
Once 5 minutes pass I wash my hands and we go down into the lobby and wait for my dad, once they get here I see three little ones running inside towards us
"Hey, my little munchkins!" I say as I hug all three of them at the same time
And they all say hi to me
Me and y/n try our best to act normal around them and we decide to to take them to the park
