Chapter 10 - Ammi

ZEE'S POV

He kept eating for himself and feeding me even after I told him I'll eat by myself.

"No no you got hurt, and is it hurting you that I'm helping you to eat?" He says and again helps me eat.

"No, but--" I say as he cuts me off.

"Shhh," he says and continues.

Soon our breakfast was done.

And he was cleaning up the table.

I helped him too.

Even after he denied it a hundred times.

Soon we cleaned up.

And he sat down on the couch.

I looked at the time it was 2 in the afternoon.

I gasp as I see the time.

My mom is going to kill me.

I hurriedly get up.

"It's 2 pm sir Don't you think I should be home?" I say and look at him.

He was totally unbothered.

"Yeah, but I told your mom you'll be back after today's classes and your classes end at ?" He asks and I answer.

"3:30?" I say.

"Exactly we have one hour and a half more to go." He says and switches on the tv.

Soon we hear the bell.

"Shit," he says and groans.

"What happened ?" I ask.

"It's Ammi I guess, I totally forgot she's going to pay a visit today." He says and quickly cleans up the mess that was in the living room.

"So are we in trouble?" I ask.

"Not you, but I am definitely." He says and runs to the door.

"See just stand behind me okay and look at me if she asks any questions and just nod your head okay?" He says as I nod.

I stand behind him praying for my well-being.

And he opens up the door.

Then we see a lady in her mid 50's standing near the door and staring at Sir with a frown on her face.

Soon she pushes Sir away and goes and sits on the couch.

"Oyee nalayak go get me some water." She says and he nods and goes to the kitchen.

Soon I follow him before she sees me.

"Omg, she looks strict," I say as he laughs.

"Just wait and watch." He says and takes a glass of water to where she was sitting.

"Jazakallah." She says and drinks it.

"I missed you sm mera bacha." He says and pulls his hand as he sits beside his mom and revealing me.

His mom gasps.

"Ya khuda, who is this suho?" She says and looks at me.

"Uhh ammi." He says and starches the back of his head.

She quickly gets up and comes towards me.

She holds both of my hands.

"She's beautiful suho, farishti." She says and caresses my hand.

"Ammi listen-" he says as she cuts him off.

"Shut up now don't lie to me ke she is not my girlfriend blah blah blah I approve her as my daughter-in-law." She says and looks at me again.
