Ritika was really happy.... She was smiling widely in tears.....

The meeting was over. He came to his room and He was standing near the door. The scene before him made him very happy... She was looking at the letter and giggling like a cute baby. He smiled widely seeing her happiness.

Suddenly he came inside the room. The sound of his footsteps made her to come back in her senses. She quickly stood up from the bed and went near him and hugged him tightly.... He was utterly shocked... He don't know how to react... He was standing just like a statue.... Shivers ran down through his spines. He felt butterflies in his stomach. He was getting a different feeling. The feeling which washed off his anger , revenge and sorrow from his heart.... This was not like Sona's hug. This hug was very soothing... He was not reacting. She too unknowingly hugged him tightly. He didn't want to stop her. But Suddenly Ritesh came back to his sense and called in a calm voice..."Ritika.."

she understood her actions and left him quickly. She looked very nervous. She thought that she did a mistake. She thought that she would be scolded by him.

" I'm ... Re..ally... So.. sry.....I.. I .. was just... Surp..rised... That's...why .." stammered Ritika nervously.

"It's okay..." He said and smiled a bit. He was blushing slightly... He was trying hard to hide it. His cheeks turned red... She was also feeling very embarassed... She turned to other side and smiled sheepishly.

There was a complete silence between them. Both of them don't know what to say. After sometimes Ritika looked at him. She wanted to express her gratitude and she wanted to seek forgiveness too... So she thought to start...

"Mr. Malhotra..." She called him... Both were avoiding eye contact.

"Ye..yes.. tell me..." He said.

" Thank you.... Thank you so much for this gift... And sorry...for hurting you....🥺" She said having tears in her eyes.

He just looked at her and smiled widely and nodded.....

" I was really broken from the moment when you said that you hate me... 🥺 I Don't know why... I was really sad... At that moment I understood that I don't hate you... I don't hate you.. I'm saying this from the bottom of my heart... I'm also in a situation just like yours... I don't hate you but I can't accept you...I'm feeling very guilty for saying those words to you...." Suddenly both of them remembered the incidents when she said that she hates him....

Again she continued...." So will you be my friend.... Not a mere friend... But a best friend...? 🥺" Confessed Ritika while looking into his eyes....

He was also looking at her. His eyes filled with tears hearing her words....
He nodded and smiled in tears...
"Yeah... I will be your best friend..." He said smiling widely....

She too smiled back... He went near her and wiped her tears and said... "Don't cry now... If ma see this , she will not spare me..." He said and both chuckled...

"Mr. Malhotra... " Before she could complete her words he said...." No.. don't call me like this... I'm your friend...right? don't be formal with your friend.. So from now call me as Parth..."

She nodded hearing his suggestion.

" Then you can also call me as Ritu... People who are very close to me used to call me like this..." She also said...

He nodded... They spent some quality time together and went to sleep....

After some days....

As usual Ritesh went to office. But today Nakul was in leave. He lied that he is having fever. Suhani was not there. Thanu took admission in new college. So Abhi and Thanu went to college.

Ritika was watching TV. Suddenly she thought about Nakul's fever. She don't knew that it was a lie. So she prepared light food for him. She went to upstairs and went to his room. When she came to the room she saw him sitting on the sofa while crying.

"Nakul..." She yelled and went near him...

"Why are you crying like this Nakul..." She asked. She was really tensed.

"Bhabhi... Day after tomorrow.. is .. is her ... Marriage..." Nakul said in between crying....

"What..? That means she agreed...?" Asked Ritika in shock.

" Yes... But I'm sure she was forced..." Said Nakul.

Ritika just nodded. She was very worried for her brother.

"Bhabhi... I want to meet her... I'm sure that she still loves me.. I want to save her..." He said.

"But how... " She asked.

" I don't know..." He said....

"So you lied to us that you are having fever...right?" Asked Ritika.

He looked down.

"Nakul... Listen... If you save her and come here with her without maa's consent.., will maa accept her..?" She asked with a worried face.

" That is a problem di... Maa was already upset with your forceful marriage... I'm sure maa will oppose it... "He said worriedly.

"Bhabhi... I decided to accept the reality.... I will leave her... My mother's happiness is more important for me..." He said and smiled faintly...

She looked at him sadly....
