Avery's P.O.V.
"Where is she." A man yelled from the other room.
"Avery, I want you to run. Okay? Promise me you won't stop until you get to the police." My mother cried helping me out the window.
"Mom.. He is drunk. He's going to hurt you." I cried.
"Baby it's ok. As long as you are safe...
Ill be ok baby." My mom kissed my head.
"I love you mom." I cried landing on the ground.
"I love you to baby now run." She cried. I ran behind a bush.
"Where is she!?" A man screamed.
"S-she's not here!" My mother cried.
"Lies!" The man yelled again. A gun shot came from the room where my mother..

I woke up screaming.
"Avery! It's ok. I'm here shhh it's ok baby." Josh wrapped his arms around me as I drenched his shirt with my salty tears.
"It's m-my fault!" I sobbed.
"What is Av?" He asked.
"It's my fault my moms dead."
"What happened Avery?" He asked worried.
"She was shot... Because someone was looking for me." I cried. He pressed his gentle lips to mine.
"Who was it Av?" Josh asked holding my face.
"I don't remember Josh..." I said getting as close as I could to him. We both sat in silence as Josh rocked me back to sleep.

"Avery." When i heard her voice I looked up to see an angel in a white gown.
"M-Mom?" I cried running to her.
"Avery I'm here to help you." She said pulling me into a hug.
"With what mum?" I looked at her confused.
"My killer." She whispered sitting down in the beautiful field of flowers.
"Okay mom." I replied.
"I can't tell you exactly who it is love, but I can guide you. I'm stuck between heaven and hell. My job is to help you find out who he was." She explained.

"I understand mom."
"I'll guide you. Now wake up dear. You're safe as long as you're with you're guardian." She said as I slowly woke up.
"Avery... We need to talk." Josh mumbled as we laid in bed.
"Ok then lets talk." I stated.
"Avery... I'm you're guardian angel."
