AUTHORS NOTE:
Okay so I understand its confusing but ill summarize it up so far:
Avery's mother was murdered but she doesn't remember who killed her mother. Her father is abusive and in jail, as of right now.
Josh was Avery's childhood best friend and first love, until he was hit by a car when Avery was 8. Josh was in love with Avery and still is. God gave him the chance to go back to earth and protect Avery and guide her. He kept himself hidden from her until she moved in with her father.
Avery's mother starts visiting her, in her dreams, as she try's to help Avery find out who killed her. The person that killed Avery's mother is after Avery.
Ill get more into detail and start explaining things better.
