Lavra got up later than usual. She had spent all night taking care of the Cyndaquil she helped, which she hadn't named yet. She couldn't name or catch it without its permission, but she thought of the greatest name for it when she did catch it.

But she had to go to school because she was aiming for perfect attendance. No matter how bad she felt about leaving the Cyndaquil behind, she hadn't caught it yet so she couldn't even bring it secretly.

When she got to school, Terri was already there. She was looking at the Pokémon News very attentively. Even as Lavra sat down, Terri didn't even seem to hear her. Lavra knew she couldn't get her attention yet, so she waited backwards in her seat for Terri to stop looking at her phone.

Lavra finally got her attention when she briefly looked out the window.

"Hiiiii!" Lavra finally was able to say something, but Terri was spooked by the sudden greeting.

"Um...hi." Terri shyly greeted her back.

Contact! Yes!

"So, you like Pokemon too?!" Lavra was interested because she saw the Jolteon so happy with Terri.

Not many people had that gift.

Luckily for Lavra, Terri nodded.

"What do you think of the Pokédex?" Lavra just had to know.

"Uh... they're useful... I guess. I have the app on my phone. It covers all Pokémon from every region." Terri flipped her phone around and she noticed her phone case.

Even though she was more interested in the app since she only had the regional Pokédexes, she wouldn't want to let this chance for friendship go.

"Aw, is that a Jolteon phone case? It's so cute! You must really love Jolteon." Lavra had to comment on the case. Maybe Terri wouldn't be so confused by how friendly Lavra was being.

"Yeah, it's my favorite." Terri still seemed weirded out as she replied.

"Ew, is that a Pokemon phone case? What are you, twelve?" This voice could only belong to the biggest bitch of the school: Claudine Spinel. She was a rich kid who never had to worry about a thing because of her father's Pokéball Factory in Kalos.

"Aw, the losers found each other." One of the bitch's cronies said.

"Ha, losers." Another laughed.

The two cronies and Claudine were part of the popular clique. Why people get so popular being cruel and hurtful was beyond Lavra. These three blonde bitches never seemed to care about others.

"How about you shut your trap and move on, Claudine, we all know your phone has Vivillion wings on it!" Lavra spat at Claudine.

Claudine's magenta eyes closed as she scoffed, "At least mine is elegant and not some child's toy.  Later, loser." Claudine and her cronies laughed at the Lavra and Terri as they went to their seats.

Thank god these bitches were on the opposite side of the room.

"Bitch, a Jolteon could one shot your Vivillion in one shot." Lavra still couldn't help but mutter.

This was all lost on Terri, who asked, "Who was that?"

"Claudine Spinel, the biggest bitch in the whole school. Only rich because of her father's business selling Pokéballs."

The bell rang, and in came Mr. Tamaka, who had some great news!

"Before we begin for the day, I have some great news, yes, yes. The whole class has been invited to stay a camp hosted by the Aria region Pokémon Lab and its lead scientist, Professor Pine. The camp will be in about two weeks, and you are allowed to bring a Pokémon companion. All right, with that said, let's begin class, yes, yes!"

YES! We can go to the Pokemon Lab! Lavra thought, Maybe I can bring that Cyndaquil with me! We have to get to bond before then, though.

Wait... Pine?
