On the engagement day:
The evening sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm, golden glow over the sprawling ballroom. Elaborate decorations adorned every corner, creating an enchanting atmosphere that whispered of romance and elegance. Crystal chandeliers hung from the ceiling, their sparkling lights dancing in tune with the soft music playing in the background.
Hoseok was in his room getting dressed. He could feel the butterflies in his stomach. He yet to give in to Kook's condition. Of course, he would never say no to Kook but to tease him was fun.
Hoseok took out his phone. but before he could type, Kook messaged him "There's a condition, remember? I need you to do something for me. That's the only way I'll agree."
"Bring it on, JK. You won't be able to resist me", Hoseok typed.
"Someone's feeling cocky", Kook replied.
"Just confident, baby. You have no idea what I have in store for you", his boyfriend replied.
"What's the difference?", Kook replied.
"You'll see when I pop the question, The Hoseok style. Get ready to cry your eyes out and get ready to mop the floors with your tears."
Kook's heart fluttered at the combination of humor and seduction in Hoseok's words. He playfully shot back: "Oh, you think you can make me cry, huh? We'll see about that, Mr. Confidence."
Hoseok's response oozed with a mixture of sexy and witty charm: "Oh, I have a whole arsenal of surprises up my sleeve, MY LOVE. I'll have you weeping tears of joy before you know it."
Kook's anticipation grew, a mix of excitement and curiosity fueling his every word. He felt his heart beat faster. This is the first time, Hoseok addressed him as My Love. He felt himself smile. He let that moment sink in his heart for a few seconds and punched a few words in his phone. "Bring it on, baby. I'm ready to be swept off my feet and lose myself in your irresistible charm."
Hoseok's final message was filled with a delightful blend of passion and humor: "Get ready for a wild ride, Lover. The Hoseok experience awaits you, and you won't know what hit you. Buckle up, JK! This ride's gonna be fun."
===================
Hoseok was standing in his room with Jin beside him. As he was about to change clothes, Jimin walked in, interrupting him.
Jimin: "Hey, Hoseok, are you ready yet? What are you doing with your phone?" He grabbed Hoseok's phone. Hoseok tried to snatch it away but Jimin gave an admonishing look. "No, you will get this after your engagement. Now Come on, Kook is getting impatient."
Jin however ignored Jimin and looked at Hoseok with a smile, clearly excited for his brother's special moment. "I wish Mom and Dad were here! They would have been so happy."
"I know hyung. I wish that too", Hoseok said sadly. Hoseok hugged Jin, appreciating the support and love between them. He was blessed to have such a strong brother. Jimin smiled as he tried to lighten the mood, "Alright Hobi, come on. Get dressed. Someone can't wait to get engaged."
Hoseok requested for some privacy, asking them to leave the room so he could get dressed. As he was in the process of changing, the room suddenly went dark. Hoseok looked around and tried to look for his phone but realized Jimin took it. But in the darkness, his senses heightened as he caught a familiar scent in the air—the perfume of his boyfriend, Jungkook.
