Jin and Yoongi both knew that they needed to talk, to address the unresolved feelings that lingered between them. But in the midst of the joyous celebration, finding a private moment seemed impossible.

Just as Jin was lost in his thoughts his eyes staring at Yoongi, Jimin's voice broke through, calling out to him. Startled, Jin turned to see Jimin beckoning him towards the cake-cutting ceremony. With a heavy heart, he followed Jimin, trying to shake off the weight of his unspoken apology.

Jimin led Jin to where Jungkook and Hoseok were standing, the couple beaming with happiness as they prepared to cut the cake. Joon, Gguk, and their friends gathered around, their smiles reflecting the joyful atmosphere.

Amidst the excitement, Jin's mind still wandered to Yoongi, the man who stood alone, isolated from the crowd. A mix of emotions washed over Jin—guilt, longing, and a deep ache in his heart. His inner voice whispered, "Yoongi, I am sorry."

Unable to find solace in that moment, Jin forced a smile and focused on the celebration. He laughed along with his friends, his heart heavy with the weight of unspoken apologies and unfinished conversations. It was a bittersweet feeling, knowing that amidst the joy and love surrounding them, there were still wounds left untended.

Throughout the evening, Jin stole glances at Yoongi, their eyes connecting every now and then, silently acknowledging the unspoken pain. Each time, Jin's heart yearned to bridge the gap between them, to have a heartfelt conversation that would bring closure to their unresolved feelings.

As the night progressed, Jin found himself stealing away from the crowd, seeking a moment of solitude. He looked around for Yoongi again, hoping to catch his eye. But he was nowhere to be seen. Jin felt a pang of panic. Did he leave? Where did he go? Did he hate him that much? He excused himself from the group and walked towards the door, hoping to find Yoongi outside. He spotted him leaning against a wall, his eyes closed. He walked toward the corner where Yoongi had been standing, hoping to find him there. The silence between them was palpable, the air heavy with unspoken words.

Jin approached Yoongi cautiously, his heart pounding in his chest. The dim moonlight cast a gentle glow on Yoongi's face, revealing the traces of melancholy etched on his features. He stood there for a moment, unsure of how to break the heavy silence that enveloped them. "Yoongi..."

Yoongi's eyes fluttered open, revealing a mixture of surprise and sadness. He straightened up, his gaze meeting Jin's, and a wave of emotions passed between them, unspoken words hanging in the air.

"Jin... I didn't expect to see you here."

Jin responded gently, "I needed to find you. I couldn't bear the thought of you leaving without... without us having a chance to talk."

Yoongi's guarded expression softened, and a flicker of hope danced in his eyes. He had longed for this moment, yet feared it at the same time. His voice quivered with vulnerability.

"I thought you didn't want to see me, Jin. I thought... I thought you hated me. I thought I lost you." Jin's heart ached at Yoongi's words, realizing the depth of pain they both had been carrying. He took a step closer, closing the physical and emotional distance between them.

"Yoongi, you never lost me and I didn't hate you. I was just....I wasn't thinking right. I didn't realize you could never hurt me. I was in my own mess....It took me sometime to realize I lost someone important to me. I lost what we had. But I can't deny it anymore. I miss you. I miss us."
