In the days that followed, things appeared to be okay on the surface. Jeongguk wasn't doing anything obviously wrong, but Hoseok was still very careful around him. Hoseok felt uncomfortable and nervous when he was at home with Jeongguk. He was always on guard, like he was worried something might happen.
Hoseok's job as a famous model kept him busy, which was a good distraction. He had a lot of work to do and had to go to different places for his jobs. But no matter how busy he was, the thought of going back home to Jeon Mansion made him feel really scared. Hoseok knew he could handle Jeongguk, but there was an unknown fear gnawing inside of him. Sad part is he didn't know how to make Jungkook understand.

"Hyung," Jungkook called out to his brother one day, showing him a new tablet he had just got. "Look at this. I got a new tablet", he showed his bunny teeth happily looking at his brother. Gguk smiled as he browsed through the tablet.
Hoseok pulled JUngkook towards him, "Is it necessary to show me everything you get? God, Kook, you're an adult," Hoseok grumbled in annoyance.
Jungkook rubbed his temples, feeling perplexed by Hoseok's behavioral change. Since their argument a few nights ago, Jungkook thought maybe Hoseok's mood swings were gone, but clearly, that wasn't the case. "It's just a habit, Hobi. Right from our childhood, I used to show hyung everything I got, and he did the same. We share things, okay? That's what brothers do. I'm sure you and Jin hyung also shared your toys or cars."
While Jungkook was talking to Hoseok, Jeongguk's gaze stayed firmly locked onto Hoseok, as he observed every nuance of Hoseok's demeanor with intense scrutiny. His attention was purely focused on how Hoseok's facial expressions changed, studying the subtle shifts in his eyes and the way his lips moved as he spoke to Kook. He licked his lips as he noticed Hoseok's eyes intensely staring back at him. Hoseok saw Gguk scribbling something in the tab.
But before Hoseok could say, Jungkook's phone rang. "A minute, Hobi. I need to get this." He walked out of the room to answer it with Jeongguk's eyes following him. In that fleeting second, Hoseok seized the opportunity and swiftly took the tablet from Jeongguk's hand. Gguk tried to grab it but Hoseok pushed him aside. His eyes widened when he glanced at the tablet. Gguk had penned a message in the notepad that said, "Not only the tablet, but everything Jungkook possesses belongs to me. That includes you Hoseok." Hoseok stared at the words in disbelief, then shifted his gaze to Jeongguk, who wore a sinister smile.
His eyes darted to the door as he heard Jungkook approaching and Gguk realized it immediately. He snatched the tablet back and deleted the message leaving Hoseok unable to understand what just happened.
Hoseok found himself standing beside Jeongguk, his eyes locked in a state of shock, gazing at him in disbelief. Jeongguk, in response, wore a sincere smile as he extended the tablet towards Hoseok, his distrust towards Jeongguk intensifying by every second. He looked at the tab and back at Jeongguk.
"Hobi......hyung is giving you the tablet. Why are you standing there like a robot? I swear to God, what's going on in your head?" Jungkook said, his tone a mix of confusion and exasperation, as he took the tablet from Jeongguk and made his way out of the room.
Hoseok quickly followed Jungkook. The more he stayed around Jeongguk, the more uneasy he felt. He wanted to talk to someone. But who? Who would truly believe Hoseok? Who would even think that Gguk could have a double face like this?
