Yoongi was driving Jin home with Tae and Jimin in the backseat. After all, he wanted to drop Jin but Jin wanted to drop Jimin because he was feeling guilty which Yoongi didn't like much. Moreover, Tae wanted to catch up with Yoongi which made Jin possessive. So, there he was, driving the three in his car.

"So, Yoongi hyung when are you and Seokjin getting married?", Tae asked all of a sudden breaking the silence. This made yoongi lose control swerve the car for a second. "Oops, sorry hyung, I didn't mean to surprise you", Tae said apologizing to everyone.

"What's wrong with you??", Jimin barked in Tae's ears clearly annoyed by this question. "Are you always this stupid?"

"Are you always this annoying?", Tae shot back.

"You...", Jimin raised his voice but Jin stopped him. "Mochi, calm down. Taehyung, we are TOGETHER but we not getting married...YET..but we WILL", Jin said enunciating every word silently letting Tae know that Yoongi and himare together and that he will never let go of Yoongi.

"So, Tae, what have you been up to lately?" Yoongi asked, attempting to break the tension in the car. "It's been such a long time."

Tae shifted in his seat, trying to find the right words. "Well, I'm working as an HR head in another company. It's not the most exciting job, but it pays the bills. I came to visit my family and thought I'd drop by to see you," Tae replied, his voice tinged with a hint of melancholy.

They engaged in light conversation, discussing random topics to fill the silence that enveloped them. They drove in silence, each lost in their own thoughts.

Yoongi stole a glance at Jin, who sat with his head against the car window, seemingly lost in his own world. Yoongi could sense Jin's longing for answers, but for now, he hesitated to bring up the topic. Instead, he mustered the courage to make a small gesture of affection. He gently placed his hand on Jin's, resting carefully in his lap. Jin didn't utter a word but responded with a warm smile understandingly, his grip tightening as if to silently convey his longing for Yoongi's presence. Yoongi's heart fluttered as he traced his fingers along Jin's hand, their unspoken connection speaking volumes.

Upon reaching Jin's home, Yoongi and Jin stepped out of the car, their hands still intertwined as they walked towards the entrance of the apartment building. Meanwhile, Tae and Jimin watched the couple, their gazes filled with a mixture of longing and bittersweet emotions.Jimin sighed and looked away only to see that Tae was staring at the other side of the car window. Sensing Tae's inner turmoil, Jimin softly spoke up, breaking the silence between them. 

"You love Yoongi, don't you?", Jimin said softly to Tae.

"And you love Seokjin, don't you?", Tae shot back, his response hitting Jimin like a punch to the gut, causing him to wince.

He sighed and looked away. Jimin looked at Jin and Yoongi. He wished he could go back in time and tell Jin how he felt.

Maybe things would have been different.

Maybe they would have been happy together.

He shook his head and tried to push away those thoughts.

It was too late now.

He had missed his chance.

He had to move on.

He has to be happy for them.

He has to be happy for himself.

Jimin knew Tae too had a crush on Yoongi. The moment the man walked in the wedding venue his eyes spoke volumes of how much he missed Yoongi. Tae couldn't tear his eyes off from Yoongi. And now the way Tae tore his eyes away from Yoongi and Jin confirmed that something was wrong. He saw the sadness in his eyes and the fake smile on his lips.

"I am sorry Taehyung."

"I am fine...and why do you care?"

"Look I am sorry I snapped at you. You know both Kook and Hobi are my best friends and I just want the best for them", Jimin confessed.

Tae realized Jimin wasn't wrong. After all, he is best friends with both. He sighed, "Apology accepted."

Jimin took a deep breath, "Look I am no one to give you advice. I know how hard unrequited love feels but trust me, it will get better."

"You think?" Tae's voice trembled with a mix of uncertainty and sarcasm.

"I'm not saying it will be easy, Tae," Jimin admitted, his voice filled with compassion. "But it's better to cherish the friendship and be a part of their lives, even if it's not in the way we desire."

Tae wiped his eyes. He hated that Yoongi was with someone. He wanted to be with Yoongi. But....he took a deep breath. "Okay." Maybe Jimin is right. At least this way he could be friends with Yoongi and support him. Tae looked at Jimin and smiled nodding understandingly.

Jimin said, "Look if you need to talk, I am there."

They saw Yoongi kiss Jin who blushed and walked towards his apartment. Yoongi just stood there lost in the kiss before Jimin shouted, "If you don't mind, we would like to go to our homes too", making Yoongi roll his eyes. Why did Jin ask Yoongi to drop Jimin? Yoongi knew Jimin hated Yoongi for coming back to Jin's life but Jimin needs to understand that Yoongi is not going anywhere away from Jin. Yoongi turned and walked like a sloth towards his car.

Taehyung hadn't seen Yoongi in years and wanted to talk so much but he kept quiet. He wished he had kept in touch but he couldn't bring himself to call Yoongi. He knew Yoongi would have been happy for him, but he also felt a pang of envy. He wished he had someone to love and marry too. The way Yoongi and Jin looked at each other, they were so in love. The way they held hands and exchanged glances that spoke volumes. They were perfect for each other.

He knew Jimin was right.

He knew he had to let go of Yoongi.

But he didn't know how.

He didn't know if he could.

But right now, they decided to enjoy the wedding and just have fun. After all, he would be there for some days only. Besides, Tae was grateful that Jungkook and Hoseok invited him to their wedding. Right now he could forget about his problems for a while and celebrate his new friendship.
