Lol, when writing block is killing you on the inside, just use chat GPT! Seriously though, I wrote this entire first draft and it didn't save properly and got deleted. Now I'm just using chat GPT as inspiration. Don't worry, I haven't plagiarized. I'm just using it as inspiration haha.

Voices were screaming at him, demanding his blood. There were snakes desperately trying to take his amulet for their gain. To strip him of what they had promised him. To kill the ones he loved. He had enough. He was tired. This world was rotten. He didn't care anymore. His brother, the one that he had cried and laughed with, told him to go to hell. To just die. What is a man to do when the entire world has given up on him?

Wei Wuxian didn't know why Lan Wangji was still holding onto him. Was he that desperate to try and confine him in the walls of Cloud Recesses? Wei Wuxian is aware of the fact that Lan Wangji hates him. Lan Wangji so much as says so when they were together with the Tortous of Slaughter. In a moment of quick decision, he decided to throw himself off the cliff. He never wanted to see the light of day ever again.

Wei Wuxian smiled. "Let the world take me," he thought, "Let me escape from this hopeless world. A world of death and decay is no world worthy of my time."

As Wei Wuxian plummeted towards what seemed like certain doom, his life flashed before his eyes. But fate had other plans. Just as he was about to meet his sure demise, he never felt the impact.

The impact never came.

After a while, he no longer felt the air pushing up against his back. It was something more solid. Solid like Earth? The felt the gentle breeze rustle his hair, gently caressing his face. There was the clear chirp of birds somewhere in the distance. Wait, there are no birds in the Burial Mounds. These chirps were clear as lightning through a dark sky, ink on a page. Where were those melodic voices coming from?

In the gentle embrace of an innocent emotion, the boy's consciousness stirred, slowly emerging from the depths of oblivion and chaos. As his eyes fluttered open, he found himself nestled within a serene field of swaying grass, body contorted into a weird shape.  "An expanse stretching as far as the eye could see," Wei Wuxian thought, amused. Lifting his gaze, he beheld a tapestry of vibrant colors painted across the sky, as if the heavens themselves were rejoicing in his awakening.

Hold on, heaven?  That could not be correct. He was a murderer. A demonic cultivator. A man deserving of the most painful death in the world. What was he doing in this haven made for the innocent and deserving?

Confusion mingled with a sense of wonder and panic, for the boy could not recall how he had arrived in this ethereal place from the Burial Mounds. Memories flickered faintly, like the sparkle in a pure child's eye, yet he could not reach forward and see for himself. His memory has never been good so that wasn't that much of a surprise. But one thing was certain—the boy had emerged from the clutches of death and found himself in a realm morphed by a god. A world where corruption has not yet occurred.

Surrounded by a delicate symphony of rustling leaves, the Wei Wuxian rose to his feet and observed his surroundings. Looming trees stood tall, their branches reaching towards the heavens as if yearning to touch the realms beyond. Sunlight filtered through the lush canopy, casting dancing shadows upon the ground, creating a whimsical display. A truly grand sight. "Not many will be able to see something like this during their lives," Wei Wuxian pondered, gently fiddling with the soft petals of a rather delicate flower.

With tentative steps, the Wei Wuxian wandered through the verdant meadow, his senses heightened with the sweet fragrance of blooming flowers and the soft caress of a gentle breeze. He marveled at the intricate beauty of the natural world, a testament to life's resilience and enduring spirit. Something someone like him should never step foot in. If he learned anything in his lifetime, it would be that he brought trouble to everything he touches.

As he walked, Wei Wuxian couldn't help but ponder the mysteries that enshrouded him. What lay beyond this tranquil expanse? Was he alone in this realm, or were there others who had embarked on similar journeys of rebirth? Most importantly, what did he, the Yilling Louzu do to deserve this kind of afterlife? Questions swirled within his mind, aching for answers that seemed elusive and faint, yet the very act of searching seemed to be a top priority for him.

Suddenly, Wei Wuxian realized something. He had changed. His appearance. It was different. He saw the world from a slightly lower perspective. His figure seemed skinny. However, more importantly, in his stomach was a golden core. A golden core! In his body was a slightly weaker version of his golden core but a core nonetheless. Wei Wuxian nearly cried in joy as he felt the familiar sensation of spiritual energy in his veins. He felt forbidden. He was given a golden core in the afterlife! How comforting!

In this idyllic sanctuary, the boy sensed a profound opportunity—a chance to walk the faithful and reliable path, unburdened by the weight of his past actions. With each step, he felt a newfound strength growing within, a surge of energy. No longer bound by the shackles of his previous life, he stood at the precipice of a grand adventure, a tapestry waiting to be woven with his own choices and actions.

Wei Wuxian took a deep breath, inhaling the essence of this enchanting realm, allowing it to infuse his very essence. With renewed comfort that his actions no longer have an effect on the world, he set forth, guided by the whispers of the wind and the gentle rhythm of his heart. The journey ahead may be fraught with challenges, but in this field of grass and trees, the boy found solace and hope—a testament to the beauty and infinite possibilities that awaited him.

And so, he ventured forth, ready to embrace the unknown, armed with the resilience of a soul reborn, eager to shape his destiny amidst the boundless wonders of this mystical realm.

Little did Wei Wuxian know that this place was far from a perfect paradise. It was the exact same world he was trying to escape from.

Hello everyone! How did you enjoy the first section? I have a lot more interesting things planned so please excuse me for writing this boring introduction. Again, this is my first fanfic so please be generous and cut me some slack.

Also, Chat GPT is now my best friend. Like seriously, it gave me so much inspiration! If there are beginner writers like me, I advise using AI to generate a sample text and practice writing your story in that format. It helps a lot!

Comments and tips are very much appreciated! Have a wonderful day :)
