Chapter 11.

" So Sam, are ya hungry?", he said, breaking the silence. I looked at him. He was still looking at the road.

" Well I haven't eaten since this morning..."

"Great! I know this amazing new diner that just opened up near my place. We can go there? Unless you don't want to..."

"Sounds great.", I said, smiling at him. He took his eyes off the road for 2 seconds to look at me and he gave me his famous grin. I swear to god I melted in the inside.

We reached there in about 5 minutes. When we got off, I could literally see his place from the car park. The diner was not grand, but it was really cozy. When we entered we got escorted to a booth and we were given our menus.

"So, have you tried anything from here before?", I asked. This is the first time I have ever broken the silence.

"Yeah, I came here with my sister last week and the chicken burger is amazing."

"Well then I'll have that." , I said smiling.

" Me too."

After we ordered, we talked about the normal stuff like how was your day and stuff like that. When the food came we started talking about how absolutely amazing the food was. I was starting to be my normal self around Harry, not the shy girl who's always afraid she's gonna screw up, but the one who loves talking about bands and random everyday stuff.

HARRY'SPOV

I could really feel Samantha opening up to me, I mean Sammie. She's allowed me to call her that since I've gotten so close to her. God if only I could tell her how I felt. But I definitely couldn't. Could you imagine what would happen? And what if she didn't like me back?

Every time she talked, I would be drawn in by her because she talks in such a way that you'll never get bored. The ways she crinkles her nose when she laughs and the way her eyes sparkle when she's listening to me talk. She's the most beautiful, most amazing girl I've ever met. But the sad thing is I only got to know her when I started dating Kathy. If I could only turn back time and tell her I loved her before going on that movie date with Kathy, maybe I would be having lunch with her without feeling guilty about dating her best friend and liking her at the same time. If only...

"...So that's the story of how me and Kathy became best friends.", she just finished telling me how she became friends with Kathy.

"Wow, you guys must be really close then huh?"

"Yeah, really close."

"Like 'share under wear' close or...?"

"EWW no Harry stop!" , she laughed, crinkling her nose again. Oh god I think I've fallen in love with her. Everything about her is just...Wow.

I can't break up with Kathy and go for her best friend. I mean it's so wrong. The whole PDA thing and telling Kathy I love her, I'm starting to doubt myself. Do I really love Kathy? I mean yeah she's sweet and every thing, but Sam and I... We immediately clicked. It's like we were made for each other. But no one can know about my little crush for Sam. No one. Especially Kathy.

SAMANTHA'S POV

I looked at my phone to check the time: 3:46pm

" Harry I think we should go, we have a lot to do and I have to meet Kathy at 7"

"Right, let me just pay for the food and we can go"

"Harry it's fine, I can pay for it."

" No no, let me be the gentleman"
