Screw it.

Chapter 15.

We were now laying half naked on the bed under the white fluffy sheets, legs tangled, clothes scattered somewhere in the room. My head was against his chest, I could hear his heartbeat gradually slowing down.

"That was... amazing.", he said after a while.

"Yeah, it was. Harry before this I did tell you I was a virgin right?", I looked up at him, waiting to see his reaction. His eyes widened and he stared down at me.

"You were? Well for the record, you were amazing for your first time and I'm honored to have taken it,", he said smiling down at me and giving me a peck on the lips. Silence fell upon the room as I started to process what had just happened. I just slept with my best friend's boyfriend. 

"Babe..." He said. My heart melted. For the first time he said babe without referring to Kathy.

"Yes?"

"I'm thinking of... You know calling it off with Kathy. I'm gonna tell her tomorrow." I immediately shot up and looked at him.

"Harry you can't tell Kathy! It would ruin my friendship with her. I'm her best friend."

"But babe... I want to be with you. Not her.", he said, placing his hand on my hips and giving it a little squeeze. I was thinking of what to do, running my hands up and down Harry's toned stomach, and suddenly I got the perfect idea.

"Why don't we make her break up with you instead!"

"What do you mean?"

"Like you two were dating right and obviously you loved her at the start of your relationship. Along the way you lost interest because she wasn't paying much attention to you, so to make HER lose interest you shouldn't give her the attention she needs, she'll eventually lose interest and dump you and there's no harm in you dating me after that because SHE was the one who dumped you", I said, smiling at my brilliant plan.
"You're a genius you know that?", Harry said, giving me a peck on the lips. 

"So we should just keep this thing between is a secret then huh?", he said, smirking at me.

"Yeah, until your other relationship is over." He lifted me onto his lap so I was straddling him.
"Sounds good to me.", he said, reaching up and kissing me.

I left Harry's house around 7 and walked back home. On the way back, I couldn't help but feel guilty, like I betrayed Kathy. But when I found out Harry was feeling the same way, I couldn't say no. I decided not to worry about so much as the plan that Harry and I agreed to was full-proof. I entered my home, changed out of the love-stained clothes that I had on and changed into a comfortable pair of shorts and a t shirt. When I hit my bed, I immediately fell asleep and the last thing I remembered was if the plan was actually going to work.

I woke up the next morning to my bed vibrating. My phone of course. I reached under my pillow and saw the Caller ID. Harry Styles. I smiled and clicked answer.
"Hey Hazz."

"Morning babe"

"Aren't you supposed to be with Kathy now?"
"I'm already starting the plan. I told her I wasn't feeling well and I'll meet her in school."
I giggled. "Okay so why did you call me?"
"Can't I call my beautiful girlfriend?"
I grinned from ear to ear and when I heard the word girlfriend.
"I actually called to ask if you wanted to go to school with me?", even though I couldn't see him I knew he was grinning.
"Harry you know we can't. Kathy will suspect something."
"Ugh I hate this sneaking around."
"Me too but don't worry it'll all be over soon"
"Yeah I hope so. I'll see you in school later then. I love you byeee"
"Byee Hazz"
I hung up and immediately jumped off my bed to get ready. I showered and decided to wear purple v-neck shirt and tights with my white high tops. I was in an extremely good mood so I took my time on my hair. I made it into a nice braid and tied the end loosely. I grabbed my keys and left the house. 

I was walking down the steps of my porch when I saw a familiar figure running towards me. Kathy. She threw herself at me and engulfed me in a tight hug.

"Heyyyy Sammie!!" she said excitedly. I decided to play it cool and pretend I didn't know why she was here.

"Hey Kate! Why are you here? Aren't you supposed to be with Haz- I mean Harry?"

"Yeah, but he said he wasn't feeling well. I just hope he comes to school today so we can all go for lunch together!"  My face turned as white as a sheet. I totally forgot that Harry and I had planned to hang out with Kathy before our little...incident. 

"Yeah..." I said.

"Hey when are your parents coming back from their trip?"

"This Sunday I think"

"We have to have a party before they come back, this Saturday, my place 7.30. Let me just send out a tweet." she said, pulling out her phone and typing her fingers off.

"Okay done! You're coming too alright?" she said nudging me.

"Haha alright."

We started talking about all the stuff that we missed over the past few days. Apparently she was actually really busy as her parent's business was going down hill and she had to start helping out around the house.

"Why didn't you just tell me?" I said in shock, stopping at the main entrance of the school. Kathy looked at the floor, eyes filling up with tears and at that moment the grey hard floor seemed more interesting than our conversation.

"I don't... I-I guess I was just really embarrassed." A tear suddenly dripped onto the ground.

"Oh Kathy..." I said, pulling her into a tight hug. "You don't have to be embarrassed okay? I'm your best friend." 

"Thanks Sam. I knew I could trust you." 

Those words hit me like an arrow to my chest. She wouldn't have said that if she knew who I was sleeping with. 

The whole day guilt clung onto me and I couldn't seem to get rid of it. After the final bell I walked slowly out of school and I saw Harry and Kathy leaning against the black car. Harry sent me a happy and annoyed look and Kathy waved at me. I walked towards them and we all got into the car and Kathy took shotgun. Harry started the engine and we were off. If you were sitting in the car with us you could literally see the awkward atmosphere and it only got more awkward when Kathy had to say the worst possible thing.

"So what have you two been doing lately?"
