Chapter 21

Still her POV: 

My life became so meaningful ever since maging kami ni Verzine. Mas naging makulay ang buhay ko, our relationship help me to see life in a different perspective.

Nabawasan din ang pakikipag away ko, dahil natuto akong kontrolin ang emosyon ko. Nag alala kasi siya sakin ng magkaron ako ng pasa sa mukha at nangako akong hindi na makikipag away pa. Bukod pa dun, sa paglipas ng mga araw mas lalo ko siyang minamahal, especially when he found out about the issue of my mom. In that moment, I was so scared kung ano ang magiging reaction niya pag nalaman niya ang tungkol dun, kaya ganun na lang ang takot ko, nung bigla siyang bumisita sa school ko at naabutan pa kong kalalabas lang sa guidance office. 

"Love..." 

My whole world stop, when he called me. Kalalabas ko lang galing guidance, when I saw him sitting at the waiting area in front of the guidance office. Bahagya akong napaatras sa kaba at gulat. I couldn't find the right words to say, especially when he stood up and slowly walk towards me. 

I was so nervous lalo na't seryoso ang mukha niya, pero ang kaba ay napalitan ng pagaalala when I saw his right hand bleeding. Hindi ko na siyang hinintay pa makalapit sakin, I close the distance between us and gently hold his hand. 

"Hey what happened love..?"

I gently asked with worried eyes, pero imbis na sagutin he hug me instead. I got shock, but I hug him back. 

"Are you okay?" 

He whisper and hug me tighter. He wrap his arms around me like I'm a fragile glass. 

"Why didn't you... tell me?"

His voice broke when he asked that. My heart ache as I realized what he's talking about. 

"Let's treat your hand first."

I respond because I'm worried about his hand, and trying to buy time because I don't have the courage to answer his question yet. 

"My hand hurts but, this is nothing compare to your pain mi amore, it can wait answer me first. Why didn't you tell me..?" I didn't know what your going through, I am your bestfriend and also your boyfriend, why didn't you share your burdens with me..? Why baby? Please tell me.."

He pleaded. I tried to hold back my tears but I couldn't, I cried my heart out on his shoulder, wala ng pakialam sa mga taong dumadaan at napapatingin samin. Nakita ko pa nga ang mga kaklase kong nambubully din sakin na gulat na makita akong umiiyak, and I can't blame them since, I never cried in front of them  kahit ano pang gawin nila sakin, but right now I don't care. 
 
For once I need to let this out, I hug him tighter as I buried my face on his chest. Verzine on the other hand, caress my hair and my back gently. 

"I'm sorry baby for making you cry... I won't force you if your not ready to tell me."

I can't believe that he said that. What did I do in my past life to be deserving of him..? I can't help but to ask myself, because in that moment... I feel well respected, love, cared, and lucky when he said that to me. 

"I... I just don't know how to tell you at natakot din ako sa magiging reaksyon mo..."

I answered matapos kumalma. I let out a heavy sigh after that, cause finally wala nakong itinatago sa kanya. Bumitaw siya sa pagkakayakap sakin, naalarma ako ngunit agad ding kumalma, when he gently cupped my face.

I looked down because of embarassment. Paniguradong mukha kong sabog ngayon lalo na't galing ako sa pagiyak, but then he made me look at him.  

Naestatwa ako ng salubungin ko ang mga mata niya. The way he looks at me, tenderly gives me butterflies in my stomach. I feel like... I'll have a heart attack, because my heart is beating so fast. I love the reflection of me in his loving eyes. He look at me as if I'm the most beautiful girl in the whole galaxy.

"I love you... The whole package  mi amore, and when I said the whole package... Means all of you and the people who matters to you..."

Napapanganga ako dahil sa sinabi niya. I am speechless, I didn't see that coming. I mean... He always surprise me with his words. My heart hurt because of too much happiness. I didn't know, na posible palang sumakit ang puso dahil sa sobrang saya.

"So please, Don't be scared to tell me everything, Hailey love... Your worries, your problems, and your darkest secrets, cause I love everything about you no  matter what happen. "

He added, before planting a soft kiss on my forehead. He then lean, and whisper in my ear.

"Please let me be there for you, let me protect you. Let your hottie boyfriend do his duty, and responsibility baby.

I obediently nod as a respond, cause that's the only thing I can do. I couldn't think straight! His breathing tickles my ear! Damn! I can't help but to fall for him even more! At mukhang hindi na ako makakabangon!

Nakahinga ako ng maluwag, when his mouth left my ear to face me, but my cheeks blush when I saw how his eyes, roam around my face, until it landed on my lips. He look at it, as if he wants to taste it.

I felt dizzy, because of the way he looks at me. I see lust... Desire in his eyes, at paniguradong ganun din ang mga mata ko.

I cleared my throat, when I felt that the temperature around us, is rising. We're in school for Pete's sake! Damn! Bawal kami magmukbang!

He let out a soft laugh, then look around. Mukhang nagets niya ang ibig sabihin ng pagtikhim ko.

"I almost forget that we're in school baby"

He said before he wink at me and then, he gently take my hand to intertwined our fingers.

"Let's go home, so I can kiss you  Mi amore".
