I felt a small hands caressing my fingers. I slowly opened my eyes and adjusted my vision. My tears fell as soon as I saw her. My beautiful daughter. Beside her is her father sleeping soundly, with dark circles under his eyes.

"Mama!"

"P..Papa Mama's awayekee!

My daughter exclaimed. Bakas sa mga mata nito ang labis na saya, at sa ingay niya nagising ang kanyang ama.

"Rye..."

Hindi makapaniwalang bulong ni Verzine, nang makitang gising na ako. Sunod sunod ang pagtulo ng luha sa kanyang mga mata.

"Thank God... Your finally awake!"

"I thought... Oh God!"

Kaagad niya kong niyakap. I flinched when my chest hurts.

"Oh I'm sorry... I forgot about your wounds."

Paumanhin ni Verzine. I just nodded my head. Iginala ko ang paningin ko, I'm in a hospital room at samo't saring mga aparatu ang nakakabit sa akin.
I don't know what happen, but I'm glad that I survived.

"I'll just... I'll just call the doctor."

Tarantang sabi ni Verzine, bago lumabas ng kwarto kasama ang anak namin. I think he forgot that there's a emergency button to call a doctor.

Pagbalik niya, nagulat ako nang makilala ko ang doctor na kasama niya. It's Gideon. Kasunod din nila ang pagpasok ng mga kaibigan ko, kompleto silang lahat. Summer, Winter, Astra, Sunshine, and Rhyme are walking towards me with bloodshot eyes. I'm sure this bitches is trying to hold back their tears.

They silently watch Gideon check on me.

"Her vitals is okay, but her wounds is still recovering. Aside from that, we need further observation since she went to a heart transplant surgery."

Gideon said professionally before looking at me.

Heart transplant..? I better ask them once I fully recover.

He slowly walk towards me, and caress my hair. 

"I'm glad your awake."

He whispered before bending his knees, to kiss the side of my head tenderly. At my peripheral vision, I saw how Verzine throw daggers at him, and how much he tried to stop himself from punching Gideon. I badly want to chuckled because of his reaction, but I don't think it's a good idea to do so.

Verzine cleared his throat while Gideon chuckled lowly.

"We'll talk some other time Hailey. I have to tell you something."

He whispered before standing straight.

"I'll go now excuse me."

Kasunod na lumapit sakin sila Summer, habang buhat buhat ni Verzine, ang anak naming mahimbing ng natutulog sa kanyang balikat.

"Damn you! I told you to wait for me Hailey!

Unang bungad ni Summer. Tahimik lang akong nakinig sa kanila, I don't have energy and my chest still hurts to argue with them.

"We're so worried about you."

Si Sunshine na nagpupunas ng luha.

"I told you it was risky Hailey!

Rhyme hissed while holding back her tears. 

"We're glad your safe and awake."

Astra whispered. Winter on the other hand remained silent, but the tears in the corner of her eyes says it all.
