Chapter 30

It's been two days since I came back here in the Philippines, and like what I expected, nothing changed. Sobrang init pa din sa Pinas, nanibago ako sa klima after all, apat na taon din akong nanirahan sa Amerika.

Pagkababa ko ng eroplano, sumakay ako ng helicopter para mabilis makarating sa probinsiya namin. Pagmamay ari ni Astra ang private helicopter na sinakyan ko, her family owns an airline company.

The helicopter landed at the rooftop, of Summers Five star hotel at San Rafael. Katabing bayan lang Ito ng San Lorenzo kung saan ako nakatira dati, kaya  hindi na ako nahirapan pa sa byahe.

Dalawang araw pa lang ang nakalipas magmula ng bumalik ako dito sa Pinas, sa lumang bahay na tinirhan namin ni Nanay, pero sobrang daming alaala na ang bumabalik sakin.
I miss my mother and it really hurts that until now, there's no justice for her.

Bittersweet memories came back to me, while I clean the house yesterday. Sa bawat sulok ng kwarto siya, at si nanay ang naaalala ko. Sa bagay, sa kanilang dalawa lang naman umikot ang mundo ko noon.

Kakatapos ko lang maghapunan, when my phone rang. I answered the call without looking at it, alam ko na kasi kung sino ang tatawag.

"I sent you all the information about him Hail."

Bungad ni Sunshine, kasama ko siyang bumalik ng Pinas. I asked her a favor yesterday, before we part ways.

"Thank you Shine."

I said and she answered "no worries". Kaagad kong chineck ang email na sinend niya, after we ended the call. With a racing heart, I hurriedly read the information about him.

"So... He's studying at Adamson's University."

It's far away from here, baka mag dorm ako if I enroll there to follow him. Binasa ko pa ang ibang impormasyon tungkol Sa kanya, at sa lahat ng information na nakalagay doon tungkol kay Verzine, his status caught my attention the most.

He's single... It means, he didn't marry her?

My Verzine is not married!

I exclaimed. I don't know what happened between him and Roxie, but I don't care! I'm really happy to know that he's not married!

The next morning, kaagad akong nag enroll sa Adamson's University. Buti na lang, kompleto ang mga dala kong papeles. Sakto din na opening ng school year ngayon.

Mahigit kumulang apat na oras ang byahe mula luma naming bahay sa San Lorenzo, hanggang dito sa bayan ng San Isidro kung nasan ang Adamson's University.
Nagcommute lang din ako kaya lalong natagalan, hindi pa kasi ako nakabibili ng sasakyan.  

Nagbayad na agad ako ng tuition and dorm fee, bumili na rin ng uniforms at mga libro sa registrar. Bukas na kasi ang simula ng klase, I decided to settle all the fees para wala nakong proproblemahin.

Maganda ang facilities ng Adamson's University. Actually, namangha nga ko kanina nung pagpasok ko dahil sa laki ng gate.
This school is very huge, it looks like a palace! Imagine, there's an ice skating and drag race area, a cinema, sports area, at marami pang iba. Nandito na ata lahat ng entertainment eh!

This is really a prestigious school, like what Sunshine said in her email. Finally, nahanap ko na din ang dorm ko. Ang lawak kasi ng school kaya naligaw ako, buti na lang may elevator at escalator kaya hindi masyadong nakakapagod.

I got speechless when I entered my room. It gives me princess vibes, sa lawak ng lugar. The room itself looks so expensive, lalo na ang queen size golden bed. Kaagad kong inayos ang mga gamit ko, sa malaking cabinet na meron ang dorm nato.

Tiningnan ko din ang banyo at agad napangiti, nang makita ang malaking bathtub sa loob nito.
There's also a very big mirror wall inside, at may shower area din. Sa pinakadulong parte, merong malaking dressing room with a golden chandelier above. Meron ding balcony at jacuzzi. Now I understand, why the dorm's fee is so expensive. 500k per semester.

I took a bath and sleep right after that. It's already 7:30 in the evening when I woke up, and I feel so hungry. Nagayos ako and decided to eat outside.

Naglakad lakad ako sa loob ng University, until I found a Japanese restaurant. Pansin ko na dinudumog ito kaya pumasok ako, thinking that the food here is delicious. Yun pala mga gwapong waiter ang nasa loob kaya dinudumog, and my heart race when I saw his face.

I didn't expect to see him here...
it's sooner that I expected. In the middle of the crowd, he is stunning with his blonde hair.
His taller than before, and he looks so matured that I almost didn't recognize him, but my heart does, it beats so fast.

He's wearing a kimono, while happily serving all girls customers. I can't help but to feel jealous, gusto ko na lang hilain siya palabas. I nervously hide, when he look at my direction.
Nagtago ako sa gilid ng pader katabi ng lamesa.

Bat ako nagtatago..? I frustratedly asked myself. I didn't do anything wrong, siya nga ang may atraso sakin so why am I hiding! I took a deep breath bago lumabas sa pinagtataguan ko and to my surprise, he's walking towards my direction.

Huminga akong malalim, at Inihanda ang sasabihin. I close my eyes to calm myself, lalo na nang malapit na siya sakin. I opened my eyes and prepare what I'm going to say since he's only a few inches away but then, I got shocked nang nilagpasan niya lang ako.

Naestatwa ako sa kinatatayuan ko. What the hell! Hindi niya ko pinansin na parang hindi niya ko kilala! Is he mad at me..? Dapat nga ako ang magalit sa kanya because he cheated on me before! How dare him ignore me!

Galit ko siyang sinundan, buti na lang hindi pa siya nakakalayo dahil hinarang siya ng tatlong kababaihan. I mentally rolled my eyes when I saw him putting his arms to their shoulders, while talking to them. Whatta a playboy!

I waited till their conversation ended. Actually, I'm not really sure if that was a conversation, it looks like flirting to me! Dahil walang ibang ginawa ang tatlong babae kung hindi ang tumili while Verzine keeps smiling, putting his arms around them! Damn him!

I followed him when he bid goodbye to his girls. Naglakad siya papuntang locker room and when he was about to enter, I called him.

"Verzine!"
