Chapter two Leo's POV.

Leo's POV.

"Fuck fuck fuck fuck FUCK!" What am I doing, I need to get control, but my god that body, those eyes, her scent. I'm going to need more than a cold shower.

"Is everything ok sir?"

"What? oh, yes everything's fine Ivy"

"I-I don't mean to pry sir but, i-is she human?"

"Who?"

"You're guest s-sir?"

"I don't see how that's any of you're business!"

"I -I-I'm sorry sir"

"Was there something you wanted Ivy?"

"Oh y-yes s-sorry sir, you're sister is here to see y-you."

"Where?"

"Sir?"

"Where is she?"

"Your study s-sir."

Great that's all I need fucking April snooping about. " Ivy I want you to take some food and clean clothes to my guest miss Lucy, make sure she's cleaned and feed by the time I'm done with my sister."

"Yes sir."

"And Ivy not a word of this to anyone, understand?"

"Y-Yes sir"

"Good now go! I won't be long." Ivy rushes past me to my room where Lucy is, she opens the door and I hear Lucy shout at her.

"Who the fuck are you?" Ahh that's my girl so feisty, my mate may be human but she's strong. I smile to myself she's going to make one hell of an immortal, one not to be messed with. I head for my study wondering what could have brought April here, she almost never visits. Opening the door I see her sitting on the side of my desk.

"April my dear sister to what do I owe the pleasure of you're visit?" She narrows her eyes at me and stands flipping her long blond hair over her shoulder, "somebody's on a mission."

"Cut the bullshit Leo"

"Nice to see you too!"

"Yes well now is not the time to be nice, you've been a naughty boy haven't you?" She starts unfolding a peace of paper in her hands.

"Have you been playing with humans? Sorry what am I saying, I KNOW YOU HAVE!"

What the fuck how could she know about Lucy, she's only been her a few hours and I gave the guards the slip when I caught her scent.

"April I have no idea what you're going on about"

"Bullshit! You were seen Leo!"

"Seen?"

"Yes in a bar, apparently the little red head was all over you." Ah Jade, thank god she doesn't know about Lucy.

"So I went for a snack what's the big deal?"

"You didn't thou did you? You never killed her? Leo it was Christopher's men that saw you"

"WHAT!" Oh shit this can not be good, if they saw me with Jade and know she's still alive they'll say I took pity on her, that I take pity on humans.

"Leo this is bad, Christopher's saying your not fit to take fathers place, that you're weak."

"WEAK! FUCKING WEAK! I'LL BREAK HIS FUCKING NECK!"

" Leo what's going on? Why would you let her live?" I need to think, I need to find a way out of this without anyone finding out about Lucy.

"April I haven't got time for this shit, I'll sort Christopher out myself"

"But Leo they have her!" She comes closer and hands me the peace of paper she's been holding.

"Who?"

"The red head, the human, there saying she's you're mate, she says the two of you are in love." I look down at the paper, it's a photo of me in the bar with Jade hanging off my neck, it's the one she took on her phone.

"Is it true? Is she you're mate?" I look up at her in disgust, how could she think this to be true, if Jade was my mate dose she think I would just leave her to be taken.

"Oh my god it is isn't it? Leo she's human, you know what this means!"

"Oh for fucks sake April she's not my mate!" She looks at me with disbelief,

"Then why let her live?" What can I say? I can't tell her I let Jade live because of Lucy, or because I changed my mind, that just doesn't happen when our kind takes a human they either die or turn, there is no going back.

"I didn't think that's all, I caught a scent and couldn't ignore it"

"No scent is powerful enough to pull a vampire away from his prey!" She narrows her eyes at me. "What was the scent?" Shit she's not going to give up. "What was the scent Leo!"

"It doesn't matter I lost it, it disappeared" Her eyes start turning red as she screams with anger.

"WHAT WAS THE FUCKING SCENT!" There's only one way out of this, here goes nothing.

"I thought it was my mate ok!"

"Oh! And she just disappeared? What was she?"

"I don't know I never saw her, the trail ended."

"She must have flashed, oh shit what if she's a witch that's as bad as a human." Ok this is good at least she believes me.

"Yeah thanks for the support sis"

"Sorry, but a witch!"

"We don't know if she's a witch, but I need to find her."

"Of course, well at least we know its not the red head now" she gives me an evil smile "you know the human thinks you two are soul mates" where is she going with this?

"She's delusional"

"Oh I know but that's the fun bit!"

"What are you taking about April?"

"Oh sorry didn't I tell you"

"Tell me what?"

"Christopher is planing on turning you're little human friend, he was planing on using her against you but since she's not your mate it will just be funny to watch her stalk you."
