Chapter ten Leo's POV

Leo's POV

I wake up to the sound of rapid knocking on the door "Master Leo, Master Leo, please hurry" Ivy? What the fucks going on? I slowly slide out of the bed, careful not to wake Lucy and shove my jeans on. "MASTER LEO!" She shouts, I rush to the door, as I open it Ivy rushes inside.

"What the fucks going on?" She looks around the room and stops when she sees Lucy in the bed.

"Sir the guards are coming" she turns to face me "they are coming to search the manor" we both look back at Lucy, shit if they find her here they'll kill her, fuck they would kill me and Ivy too. Lucy may be half fallen but that's no good if all they'll be able to sense is human.

"When are they coming?"

"I-I don't know sir, Lady April just called and said Master Christopher has told your father you have been associating with humans. She wanted to warn you, the King has ordered the manor to be searched and .......... " Ivy goes quiet and looks at the floor, shit this can't be good.

"And what?" I demand.

"And you to- to be kept here....... until further notice" she whispers, fuck! Anger fills me, I start pacing the room and running my hands through my hair. I'm going to fucking kill Christopher, I'm going to rip his head off and feed it to the dogs. "Sir, what should we do?" I stop pacing and look at Lucy, my beautiful Lucy, I need to get her out of her, I need to make sure she's safe. I look back to Ivy and I know what has to be done and the only person I can trust with Lucy, is Ivy.

"You need to leave" Ivy looks at me in shock "You need to get Lucy out of here, and you need to stay with her until I can sort this out." And kill that bastard!

"But sir where will we go?"

"Lucy's apartment, she should be safe there, no one knows about her." Then it hits me "SHIT!" Jade, I'm going to have to tell Lucy about her. "Ivy go get whatever you need to take with you, and hurry I'll wake Lucy." Ivy bows her head then leaves. Just as Ivy shuts the door Lucy's eyes fly open, she sits up and looks around the room panicked. Before I can even get to her Ivy bursts back through the door.

"THERE HERE!" She shouts "Miss Lucy you have to come with me." Lucy looks from me to Ivy and back again in confusion as Ivy starts rushing around the room grabbing Lucy's jeans off the floor and passing them to her. "Please Miss Lucy we have to go now!" I quickly grab two t-shirts and rush to the bed passing one to Lucy.

"Baby you need to get dressed, you need to go." She looks at me with hurt and pain in her eyes.

"Go where? What the fuck is going on?" I sit next to her on the bed.

"You're going home, the guards have come to search for humans, if they find you......." I can't even finish that sentence. "I can't lose you baby, I won't lose you not now.... not ever" I lean my forehead against hers, she shocks me with a kiss,then pulls back and looks deep in to my eyes.

"I can't lose you either, not now....not ever." She whispers.

"Master Leo we're running out of time" Ivy says from the other side of the room.

"I have to stall them" I say as I stand"

"NO! You can't leave me" She says in a panic and grabs my hand.

"MASTER LEO!" Shit, I look down at Lucy, what a difference a few hours can make. She couldn't wait to get away from me, but now she looks like she can't stand the thought of being away from me, which is exactly how I'm feeling. I lean down and quickly kiss her forehead.

"Don't worry baby Ivy will keep you safe and explain everything." She nods her head and I rush to the door.

"WAIT!" I turn around to face her. "When will I see you again?" I smile at her, but then I hear the guards entering the manor, FUCK! With one last look at my beautiful mate I turn to leave and shout over my shoulder

"Soon" I rush down the stairs while shoving my top on and go to the main entrance of the manor , the guards have already spread out searching the vas number of rooms on the ground floor. I can hear things being moved, thrown and smashed, fuck this!

"WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?" I shout out, everything goes quiet, after a few seconds my fathers head guard Dominic steps out of the library.

"DOM, WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON? AND WHY ARE YOU DESTROYING MY HOME?" He bows and lowers his head, I can see his body shake a little. "WELL?" I shout making Dom jump.

"I'm sorry your Highness, but his majesty has heard reports of your involvement with humans a....." I hold my hand up cutting him off,

"So I associate with humans now do I?" Dom lowers his head again not wanting to answer. "Would these reports by any chance of come from Christopher?" He gives a quick nod of his head, "Well little brother is playing dirty now" I say as I walk closer to him. "Are you expecting to find a human here?" I stop right in front of him "and what will you do if you find one?" Dom lifts his head and looks at me nervously.

"Sir my orders are to search the manor and report back."

"There's nothing to report" I state, then turn to walk away. A guard comes from the far end of the manor followed be another six all looking the same in there matching uniforms. They stop in front of me and bow then turn to Dom.

"Sir all rooms on this floor have been searched"

"And?" Dom says in a commanding tone.

"Nothing sir, all rooms clear."

"Good, check the first floor and start with the bedrooms." Dom turns to me "If you don't mind sir we'll start with your room" shit, he jesters for me to lead the way.

"Of course, follow me." I make my way up the stairs with Dom and the seven other guards right behind me. Ivy better have got Lucy out of there or it's going to turn in to a blood bath in here. I'll kill the lot of them if I have to, We reach my room, I go to open the door but Dom stops me.

"Sir please stand back." I raise my eyebrow at him and slowly move away

"Go ahead." Dom steps forward and grabs the handle, I brace my self ready for a fight. He pushes the door open and rushes inside, I quickly follow and scan the room. She's gone, it's like a weight has been lifted of my Heart, she's safe. Dom eyes me suspiciously.

"You look relieved, anyone would think you had something to hide?" anger fills me and I rush at him grabbing his neck and shoving him against the wall

"REMEMBER WHO YOU'RE TALKING TO DOM, I COULD SO EASILY BREAK YOUR NECK IF I WANTED TO." I harden my grip around his neck to prove my point. "I HAVE NOTHING TO HIDE, UNDERSTAND?" Dom tries to nod his head. "GOOD NOW TAKE ME TO MY FATHER I'M SICK OF THIS SHIT." I release my grip and Dom falls to the floor, I turn to the other guards "Any objections?" They all look to the floor where Dom is crouching holding his neck, I can't help but smile. "Didn't think so" I look back down to Dom "LET'S GO!"
