Chapter 12 lucy

It's been two weeks, and still nothing. No Leo, no jade, just me and Ivy stuck in my apartment. Ivy has been helping me control my new gifts and filling me in with an all you need to know about her world..... My world. All the different creatures or beings as she calls them, it's so much to take in, my whole life has just been turned upside down. I've gone from having a job, a home, a best friend, to......nothing. Ivy has told me over and over again how I can't be a part of the human world anymore, I can't go to work, can't have normal friends and soon I will have to leave my home of five years to go god knows where. This is all so fucked up!
"Miss Lucy?" Again with the miss Lucy crap.
"please ivy, it's just Lucy, no miss."
"Sorry!"
I look up from my pillow and watch ivy walk over to my bed, where I've been....well sulking for the last two hours.
"Are you okay?"
I plop my head back down and look at the ceiling "yeah, I'm just fucking peachy" I exhale loudly, I'm so frustrated, all I wanted to do was get some fresh air, being in this apartment 24/7 for two weeks is sending me even more crazy then I already am.
"You know you can't leave the apartment, it's not safe, we don't know who knows about you and until master Leo gets back .....we can't risk it."
I look at ivy and narrow my eyes "Leo..... You really think he's coming back?" Ivy looks at me confused "two weeks and not one word..... Nothing, so much for all that you're my mate shit! All he wanted was a wham bam and I didn't even get a thank you mam" I sit up and pull my knees to my chest. "He's caused all of this, if he hadn't of shown up everything would be fine. Jade would still be here........ and I'd still be me!"
"This is who you are Lucy, this is how you were born" ivy sits next to me on my bed. "master Leo is coming back" she states matter of factly.
"He's not, he's awoken this evil in me and he doesn't even have the guts to stick around." Not wanting to lose my temper with another argument over the whereabouts of my so called mate I flash to my living room.
"Damn it!" I hear ivy whisper, it seems super hearing is one of my many new gifts that have been popping up over the last two weeks, along with speed, strength, mind reading and some serious rage issues that are accompanied by fangs and claws oh and wings. Yeah that one shocked the hell out of me, it was a week ago now when ivy was helping me though one of my many...... Well...... let's just call them outbursts, looking back I think I handled it pretty well though.

One week ago.

I CANT DO THIS ANYMORE! I scream as ivy walks towards me with her hands up.
"Okay miss Lucy just calm down........ breathe........you CAN do this, you can control it. It's part of you, YOU control IT. IT doesn't control YOU!"
"OH SPARE ME THE BULLSHIT!" I don't need to look down to know the pain in my finger tips means my nails have been replaced by claws, and the soreness of my gums means my fangs have grown. My breathing gets faster, heavier, the rage has well and truly taken over as it has done so many times now.
"You can do this miss Lucy, just try to focus."
"I. AM. FOCUSING....." 'Pop' "AAAARRRRR" I scream as burning pain rips though my back between my shoulder blades, the sound of tearing flesh fills my ears as I fall to my knees in pain.
"MISS LUCY!" Ivy shouts as she rushes over to me and helps me to my feet again. the pain quickly subsides as I try to catch my breath and wipe the tears from my cheeks. I lift my head to look at Ivy, the look on her face terrifies me. I slowly look over my shoulder.
"HOLY SHIT!" I breathe. "Wings?"

"You have wings.........it's....... this is amazing!" I roll my eyes at Ivy's excitement and turn my head to inspect my new wings. They're so big, but so light as if they weren't even there. I put my hands behind my back and run my fingers through the feathers, they're so soft. "They're so beautiful" Ivy states as she walks around me to examining them. Eyes wide with excitement she wipers "can I touch them?"
