Lucy's POV
Ivy looks at me in shock as she lets go of my arm. "H...How did you do that?" She whispers, I look around my living room in confusion.
"How the hell did we get here?"
"You flashed, how can you flash?" Her shocked look turns to one of amazement, I narrow my eyes at her.
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? AND HOW THE FUCK DID WE GET HERE?"
"You brought us here, you flashed" I watch as she starts pacing and talking to herself "how is that possible? She's only half fallen, and not even a fallen can flash." Ivy stops and looks at me confused then starts pacing again. How does she know I'm half fallen?
"Will you just tell me what the hell is going on? And what the hell is flashing?" Ivy turns and looks at me.
"I'm not sure...... I don't know how you did it but somehow you flashed us here you know like teleporting." She looks around the room. "Is this your apartment?" Did she just say teleporting? Oh god! I slowly nod my head, Ivy stands still for a few seconds then starts pacing again, god she's making me feel dizzy.
"IVY!" She stops and stares at me.
"Ok sorry ..... ermm ok, right, what was you thinking about just before we flashed into your apartment?" I try to remember but I've got so many things running through my head. "Miss Lucy you have to remember."
"Ok just give me a minute" I sit down on the couch and put my head in my hands, ok come on think. "The guards were coming, they were outside the door...." I look up at Ivy "you grabbed my arm and started pulling me towards the window, then the door knob turned and........ I panicked, I was scared, I just wanted to be home. So I just thought about being at home, being here, being safe, and then....well we were here." Ivy's jaw drops.
"Wow" she mouths then sits down next to me. "It's impossible, I mean you shouldn't be able to flash, but you did." I put my head back in my hands. "And you can do it with just a thought."
"So, what, I just think of somewhere I want to be and I'll just appear there?" I look back at Ivy, she nods her head as she looks across the room in thought.
"And you flashed with me, I've never heard of anyone doing that." Her brow draws together in confusion "Not even high level demons can flash, and you're only half." She says as if she was talking to herself.
"Ok you've lost me, what do demons have to do with it?" She turns and looks at me.
"Didn't Master Leo tell you what you are?" I look to the floor and bite my lip, Leo didn't tell me but my mother did. But how do I explain that my dead mother came to me in a dream? Then again that's probably normal in this fucked up world of monsters.
"Miss Lucy you're half fallen" I keep my eyes on the floor. "A fallen is one of the highest levels of demons, they are seen as pure evil" my head snaps up.
"NO!" I shout as I shake my head "NO! I'M NOT EVIL."
"I didn't say you was, and I don't believe you're evil. Miss Lucy you are one of a kind" she puts a hand on my shoulder "There has never been anyone like you before, fallen angels don't have mates, most of our would believe it's part of their punishment." We sit in silence for a moment. "But I still don't understand how you can flash, I mean, only really powerful witches and sorcerers can do it, and they can only do it on their own, you flashed with me." Ivy goes quiet once more as she stares in to space and chews on her bottom lip deep in thought. I sit back on the couch and bring my knees up to my chest, I can't believe this is happening. My hole life has been one big lie, I don't even know who I am anymore. Tears start to roll down my cheeks, I just want to be normal, I don't want powers or gifts or whatever the fuck they are. I don't want to be part of a world with witches, sorcerers, demons and god knows what else. I need normal, I need to talk to Jade, shit Jade I haven't seen her since the night Leo took me.
"Ivy what day is it?" I don't even know how long I've been gone.
"Sunday, why?" Two days, Oh god, Jades probably phoned the police by now, she must be so worried. I stand up and head for the door. "Wait! Miss Lucy where are you going?"
"I need to see Jade." Ivy moves so fast, with in a second she's in front of the door.
"NO, YOU CAN'T!" Ok there's no way in hell she's keeping me away from my best friend.
"WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM." I start getting that feeling again, anger and rage. "IVY GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY WAY" Ivy holds her hands up in front of her.
"Please Miss Lucy, there's something I need to tell you, you need to calm down." Calm down! Fuck this. I close my eyes and think of Jades apartment, when I open my eyes I'm standing in the middle of Jades living room.
"Wow" I breathe, I think I've got the hang of this flashing thing. I look around the room, it's so dark. BANG! I jump and spin round to face the front door that is now wide open with Ivy standing next to it. A voice inside my head screams "VAMPIRE" ok, that's new, Ivy walks towards me.
"Jade's not here."
"How the hell do you know that" the anger inside me is starting to get out of control, I know my eyes have already changed colour by the way Ivy is looking at me, she looks scared. "You better tell me what the fuck is going on" I say in a voice I don't even recognise.
"M-Miss Lucy please, I will tell you everything, but I need you to calm down" if only it was that simple, I don't want to hurt Ivy but the way I'm feeling at the minute I think I could quite easily rip her head off. I ball my hands into fists, close my eyes and take a deep breath. No not working.
"Where is she?" I say through clenched teeth then take another deep breath. Ivy doesn't answer, I open my eyes and stare at her "WHERE IS SHE?" Ivy takes a step back and looks at the floor. "IVY!" Ivy's head snaps up, her eyes go wide as they focus on my hands. I look down to find my nails have turned in to what looks like black claws and they have dug in to the palm of my hand making blood pour from them. I unclench my hands and hold them out in front of me, to my amazement the wounds heal instantly. Holy shit! What the fuck is happening to me. I look back to Ivy, her eyes are still fixed on my hands. I think the shock of what has happened has calmed the anger "Ivy, just tell me where she is" she shakes her head.
"She's gone." A mix of panic and rage bursts in side of me I can feel it running through every vein. "They thought she was Master Leo's mate so they took her." Oh god not Jade, please.
"WHO?" My hole body feels like it's on fire, Ivy takes another step back and holds her hands up, it's like she can feel the rage flowing from me.
"Miss Lucy please" she begs
"JUST FUCKING TELL ME!"
"Master Leo's brother Christopher, he.....he...."
"HE WHAT!"
"He said he's turned her" she whispers, my chest goes tight, I can't breathe, all my anger and rage boils to the surface tears roll down my face. I look at Ivy and let out a Heart reaching scream, Ivy goes flying out of Jades apartment and slams into my front door then falls to the floor. Shit what have I done?
