The room went silent.
"So what now?" I asked.
"I'm not sure, what do you want to do?" Joey asked.
"How about we talk about this morning? I mean.. it was all so random." I said.
"Uhm.. yeah.." Joey responded, unsure.
"So?..." I asked.
Joey sighed. "Jade," He said as he took my hands and looked me in the eyes,"I like you, more that just a friend."
"I like you in that kind of way too." I responded back, calmly, even though I was happy about the whole situation.
He put his hand on my neck and kissed me on the lips. "Will you be my girlfriend?" Joey asked me.
"Yes!" I happily said and kissed him deeply on the lips. I was so happy this was happening. I almost couldn't believe it.
"Also, do you want to go ahead and go get your stuff from Paul's?" Joey asked me.
"Yeah sure." I replied.
