———Time skip——At Joey's——
We got into his bed room and laid on the bed and closed my eyes.
"Jade, is everything okay?" Joey asked in a soft voice.
I sat up.
"Not really. I don't understand why Val acted like that. I'd never seen her try to beat someone before." I responded.
"Oh, I'm sure she didn't mean to or something." Joey said as he came over and hugged me close to him.
"Yeah.. maybe." I replied.
"Also, tomorrow, there's a band meeting. Everyone is going to introduce themselves." Joey said excitingly.
"How many members are there?" I asked, curiously.
"Including you, there's 10." Joey responded.
"That's nice. Any name ideas?" I smiled.
"That's part of the meeting." Joey laughed a bit.
"Yeah, right." I laughed too.
"So we'll get your guitar before we go, just in case we start something." Joey said.
"Yeah, are we going to get it in the morning or tonight?" I asked.
"In the morning probably. I'm tired." Joey replied as he yawned.
I got up and got under the covers and Joey did the same. He then put his arms around my waist and pulled me close to him.
"Goodnight." He whispered.
"Goodnight." I whispered back.
And then we both fell asleep shortly after.
