I sat there looking at the time, waiting to get out of this class so I can spend time with Joey. Val pokes me and I look at her.
"What time is it? I saw you checking and I'm blind as fuck." She asked me in a whisper.
"It's 10:38." I replied back in a whisper.
"Okay thanks." She said.
It's finally almost 10:45 meaning I would soon be able to see Joey. Just as I was thinking that the bell rang for us to switch classes but I'm skipping my next class.
I walked out and put my stuff up and went into the hallway that almost nobody used and waited there for Joey.
A few minutes later, Joey came around the corner and smiled at me.
"Hey." He said to me with a soft smile.
"Hello." I replied and smiled back at him.
He sat down next to me and pulled me into a hug. I hugged him back tightly then crawled into his lap and put my head on his chest. His heartbeat was slow and his breathing was calm. I snuggled up close to him and yawned.
"Are you tired?" He questioned me while running his fingers through my hair.
"Yeah, I'm always tired." I replied.
