I was tired from all the running I did, and Mick looked like he was about to rip my limbs off of me, so I decided to stop. Jade was sitting at the island in the kitchen, so I went over to her and sat beside her. Jim was on the other side of her.
"Hello." I said to her.
"Hello." She replied back with a tired smile.
"Want to go to bed? I'm tired." I asked.
"Sure." She responded as she started to get up.
"Well you two have fun.. in bed." Jim snickered.
I just rolled my eyes and went upstairs with Jade following along. We got into our bedroom and I decided I was going to shower since I got all sweaty from running around. I went over to the closet and got some cloths.
"What are you doing?" Jade asked.
"Showering." I responded as I went into the bathroom and closed the door.
As soon as I got in, the water was cold, even though I let it warm up for a bit. Someone else in the house must be showering at the same time or someone used all the hot water.
I got out, got dressed, then went out of the bathroom and Jade was still awake, practicing guitar. I got under the covers and when Jade got done practicing, she did the same. I put my arms around her waist and pulled her close to me.
