"In case you never get a second chance: don't be afraid!" "And what if you do get a second chance?" "You take it!"

Brooklyn's POV-
"Lily have you seen my phone?" I yelled over the sound of the music blasting in our tiny apartment.
"What did you say?" She yelled back. Lily had thick long dark hair (I could never tell if it was black or a really dark brown), bright blue eyes, and was really short compared to me. Lily and I both danced, that's how we meet at the beginning of college. A month before Christmas break roled around, I had decided I wanted to live off campus next semester and Lily offered me a room in her tiny little apartment right next to the university.
"Have you seen my phone?"
"I can't hear you!" She exclaimed.
I walked over to the radio sitting on the shelf in the corner of the room and turn off the music. "I said, have you seen my phone?"
"Ohhhh. Nope, I haven't seen it. Check the kitchen, you have a habit of leaving it in there," She pointed out.
I noded and headed into the kitchen. "It's hard to look for it when you have your crap all over the counter!"
"Sorry girl, I'll clean that up later," She told me.
"You said that last week," I mumbled as I cleared out the some of the counter space.
"Oh come on it adds character to the kitchen!" She exclaimed.
"Sure," I replied.
I began to shift Lily's stuff around on the counter to see if my phone was there, but it was no where to be found. I had already looked in my room, the main room, and it wouldn't be in Lily's room. When was the last time I had my phone? I thought. I think it was when I was texting Tiff when I was.... "Crap!" I yelled.
"What?" Lily asked clearly startled.
"I left my phone in his car!"
Lily got up from the table where she was doing her homework and walked over the the kitchen. "You left your phone in Heath's car?"
"No, he didn't take me home from the party." I mumbled quietly hoping she would drop the subject.
"If Heath didn't take you home, who did?"
"Well, let me explain first. Okay so I had just seen Heath with his tongue down some random girl's throat and I wasn't thinking clearly so I thought I would walk home--"
"You thought you could walk home from the dorms? That's like a half a mile away! You were walking around at freaking two in the morning?" Lily asked interupted me.
"Yeah, well like I said I wasn't thinking clearly," I grumbled.
"Okay so what happened after that?"
"Well, as I was saying before I was interrupted, I was walking around and I get bombarded with some paparazzi following some guy. He felt bad about it and offered me a ride home. I accepted it because I was lost and tired," I explained.
"You never told me who this myseterious guy was."
"Umm.. well it was Harry Styles. You know that guy from that British band?" I mumbled.
"Are you being serious?" Lily exclaimed.
"Yeah, what are they doing here anyway? Don't they live in Britian?" I asked as I took a water bottle out of the fridge to drink.
"There working on some a new album and they moved out here for a bit to work on it."
"That's a bit creepy that you know that Lil," I laughed.
