Brooklyn's POV-

"Lily I wish you didn't have to be somewhere today! I don't want to be alone on Valentines day. I feel like a middle aged cat lady," I exclaimed.

She sighed, "I'm sorry Brookie. When I come back maybe we can watch a movie or something and eat our feelings out, but right now I can't."

She looked in the mirror next to the door, trying to see if there was any last minute touch ups she needed to do. "You really do look amazing Lils." Her thick blackish brown hair was straightened and left down and she wore a bright pink dress that accented her naturally pale skin beautifully.

"Thanks girl. I'm gonna go! Call me if you need anything," She yelled over her shoulder as she left.

I sighed, now alone on Valentines day. Last year Heath had taken me iceskating. Even though its strange for a dancer, I'm naturally very clumsy, so it was an interesting sight to see me on skates. He guided me on the ice and it was really sweet and romantic.

This year of course I was going to be alone, eating everything in my reach, watching sappy romance movies. I know that sounds pitiful, but I didn't care. Until I found the right guy I was happy on my own. At least I had food to comfort me.

I decided to watch Notting Hill first because it was one of my favorite movies. I turned on the TV and snuggled up to the couch, digging into my chinese take out I had ordered.

About 30 minutes in, I heard a knock on my door. I wasn't really dressed to answer the door, in my floral pajama pants and grey tank top, but I didn't really care at the moment. It was probably just a delivery guy or something.

When I opened the door I saw the last person I would expect to see, standing there. Harry Styles.

Harry's POV-

Liam, Niall,  and Louis were all out with there girlfriends. Zayn was out with a girl he had apparently been seeing for a couple weeks. It wasn't official or anything, they just hung out a couple of times. I on the other hand had nothing to do. While I did currently had a thing with Vanessa, we weren't official so it would have been weird to take her out on Valentines day. It was too soon in the relationship and besides I didn't really want anything serious.

My tour was about to start and I didn't really want a long distance relationship during that whole thing. I wanted to be able to have a little 'fun' on the tour anyways.

So anyways, there I was, alone on Valentines day. Bored out of my mind. I wasn't really in the mood to be alone so I started to look through my phone contacts to call and see if anyone wanted to hang out. I couldn't call any of my guy friends because they were either out with there girlfriends or it would have just been weird hanging with them on Valentines days. I also couldn't call any of my girl friends because they would get the wrong idea if we hung out on Valentines day.

That's when I had an idea. Brooklyn wasn't dating anyone and was probably alone too. She obviously didn't like me in a romantic way so it wouldn't be awkward hanging with her. I decided to drop by and she if she was home.

I knocked on her door and after a few moments Brooklyn answered the door looking surprised. "Oh hey Harry. What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be out wooing some hot long legged blond?" She teased.

I laughed and shook my head, "Not on Valentines day. I don't want them to get the wrong idea, ya know?"

She nodded, "Then why are you here?"
