Dance on the edge of mystery. ~Alan Cohen

Brooklyn's POV-

It had been a week since that night at the club. After that Harry and I never talked about what had happened. Everyonce and a while we would get a bit too close and my heart would start pounding again, but normally things between us were fine. Harry never saw Ava after that. Of course she was a bit sad, but I wasn't going to force Harry to like someone he clearly didn't. Plus it made me feel a bit better that I didn't have to watch him date one of my friends.

Harry and I hung several times and sometimes one of the boys from One Direction would tag along. I liked all of them expecially Louis, who was actualyl hilarious. Harry seemed to like most of my friends including Lily and Tiffany although no matter how many times I offered to set him up with any of them he would refuse. I went out on a couple of dates, but I always found a reason not to like the guy in the end. Of course there were about a million articles out in the media about Harry and I but I normally ignored them. They had even figured out my name. I had also gotten both some hate and some love from One Directions fans.

Harry and I had been walking back from dinner when he asked, "So how was it with... what's his name?"

"His name was Reed," I stated sourly.

"Well go on, tell me what happened," He grinned.

I tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear, "He was just so annoying. He was always bragging about how great his life was and I don't know I just couldn't take it. Definitely did not live up to my boyfriend material list."

He laughed, "Oh so you have another list?"

I nodded and took a sip of my hot chocolate Harry had insisted buying me. "Do I get to hear it?" He asked smirking.

Ever since I had kissed Harry none of the guys I had gone out with could compare with what I felt that night with Harry. So I had decided to make a list of everything I wanted in a guy and when I met that guy I would date him. "Okay so basically he has to gave a great smile, can't be too serious, a guy I can laugh with and talk to about anything, he has to have a good deep voice, has to be in shape, he has to have some sort of job, has to be around my age, and just stuff like that."

He was silent for a moment and just looked down at his shoes. "What's up Harold?"

He looked up and smiled, "Nothing, just thinking about stuff."

I checked my watch, "Crap I need to be at my next class in like 5 minutes."

He grinned, "Well I guess you better run fast then. Good luck with that."

I glared at him, "Ugh I knew it wouldn't be a good idea to have lunch with you in between classes. You always make me loose track of time!"

"Don't worry love if you start now, I'm sure you can make it. Also what time does dance end tonight?"

I thought for a moment, "Umm, probably around 6. Why?"

"Louis is going out tonight with Eleanor because she is in town again, do you want to come over?" Harry asked.

"Umm, I don't know Harry I have a lot of work to get done tonight."

"Come on Cookie, please!" He pleaded.

I looked down at my watch, I knew he wasn't going to drop it and I really needed to get to class. "Fine, but stop calling me that!"

"Never!" He yelled laughing as I started to run toward my class.

Harry's POV-

I looked at my phone notifications and saw that several new articles had been written about Brooklyn and I.
